Carmen busts out laughing: “Oh my god Shane! Oh my god!” (She stops laughing, folds her arms, and with a serious look on her face says) “What did you do to her, Shane?”

Shane looks away and doesn’t respond.

Carmen: “Well? If you are serious about therapy, it’s going to come out sooner or later!”

Shane: “I convinced her and her son to move in with me and then she caught me having sex in the apartment with the realtor. Promise me you won’t say anything about that. She has a son who I love. Carmen starts laughing at Shane because she didn’t say a word. Shane comes back to the table holding two plates with Pound cake and ice cream. She puts a plate in front of Carmen and sits a plate near her chair and sits down. After they finish dessert, Carmen gets up to leave. Shane grabs Carmen’s arm.

Shane: “I don’t want you to go. Please don’t go!”

Carmen: “I already said I would go to therapy with you and I will. What more do you want?”

Shane, releasing her arm: “Ok, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”

Shane reaches to give Carmen a hug then stops herself. She takes a step back then reaches out to shake Carmen’s hand. Carmen begins to laugh.

Carmen opens her arms to Shane to give her a hug: “Come here!”
