    *** Knowing that the kids would start to get tired or bored by this point Bette and Tina had arranged for them to be entertained with age appropriate games, movies, snacks etc. A game room was set up for them, and they also had sitters to watch them so the parents could enjoy the party.

    Knowing that the kids would start to get tired or bored by this point Bette and Tina had arranged for them to be entertained with age appropriate games, movies, snacks etc. A game room was set up for them, and they also had sitters to watch them so the parents could enjoy the party. They had cots set up in the room in case the kids fell asleep before the parents came to get them.

    They took a break in the celebration to allow the parents to take the kids to their rooms to change into play clothes or pajamas. Once they got the kids settled they continued to the party.

    Liz now 7 months pregnant was feeling tired so she opted to make it an early night. Emma and Suzie changed into more comfortable clothes. Emma joined the party after getting Suzie settled in the game room.

    Bette and Tina went to Kit’s room with Angie to help her get changed into play clothes. She was too wired to sleep and Kit wanted to stay up a bit longer as well. Angie was staying with Kit in her room while Bette and Tina had the honeymoon suite. Once they got Angie squared away Kit took her to the game room so Bette and Tina could change out of their wedding attire.

    James and Lisa got a sitter for Zach who had fallen asleep and they readied Sophie and Joey for play time in the game room. Dani, Cindi and Jackie also changed into comfortable clothing and Jackie went to the game room while her parents went back to the party.

    Peggy, Phyllis, and Joyce found a cozy spot near the bar and spent the next few hours drinking and talking.

    The rest of the gang hung out in the party room and danced to the music that Carmen was spinning for them. They had an open bar and an open mic so they entertained themselves until Bette, Tina and the others returned.

    The party was in full swing; everyone had been drinking, dancing and having a great time. It’s been open mic all evening and at various times during the party different people have gotten up to say a few words, make dedications, sing songs, or tell jokes and shared memories about Bette and Tina.

      • evy, thank you for encouraging me to re-post it. I actually enjoyed reading it again myself. I had forgotten a lot of the wonderful moments shared by Bette, Tina and Angie on their journey to three hearts one home. It’s coming to an end. One more chapter and then the finale.

      For me it is like reading it for the first time.
      Their commitment ceremony was absolutely amazing, how they included Angie and all the people Who are dear to them. It brought tears in my eyes.
