    Angie takes the companion rings for her parents from Kit and places one each on Bette and Tina’s ring fingers. “I didn’t used to think I was lucky because we didn’t live in the same house, but now I know I was always very lucky to have two mommies that love me. I love you

    Angie takes the companion rings for her parents from Kit and places one each on Bette and Tina’s ring fingers. “I didn’t used to think I was lucky because we didn’t live in the same house, but now I know I was always very lucky to have two mommies that love me. I love you mommies, and I am very happy we live together with Riley.”

    Bette and Tina kiss Angie and Angie hugs both her parents to her as they all get teary eyed and emotional. They stand up and the chairs are removed. Bette and Tina have also included lighting a Unity Candle in their ceremony. Kit takes the stage again and gives everyone directions.

    “You should have each found a candle in your chair when you arrived. If you will please take this candle and stand up. We will now light them. Adults please watch the little ones and everyone please be careful. This part of the ceremony represents the unity of friends and family expressing their support. If you so desire you are welcomed to make a blessing statement as your candle is lit. James’ candle will be lit first, followed by Alice and then Shane. From there you will pass the flame to the person sitting to your right until all candles are lit. Bette, Tina and Angie together will light their unity candle at the end.

    James: On behalf of Lisa, Sophie, Joey, Zack and myself I just want to say THANK YOU for loving me and my family and for making us a part of yours. You share so much passion, commitment and devotion. You give so much and you’ve enriched all of our lives. We love you all!

    Alice: I can’t even express how grateful I am to have you as my chosen family. I am honored to share this day with you and my Earth Daughter. I love you all!

    Shane: I think it’s beautiful to see two people so in love, and the love you have for your daughter is immeasurable. I wish you the same happiness always that you share today. I love you all!

    Emma: I speak for Liz, Suzie and our unborn son Joshua. The love you share goes beyond the three of you. You bring a lot of love to your family and friends and we are so much better for it. We love you all very dearly.

      • evy, thank you for encouraging me to re-post it. I actually enjoyed reading it again myself. I had forgotten a lot of the wonderful moments shared by Bette, Tina and Angie on their journey to three hearts one home. It’s coming to an end. One more chapter and then the finale.

      For me it is like reading it for the first time.
      Their commitment ceremony was absolutely amazing, how they included Angie and all the people Who are dear to them. It brought tears in my eyes.
