The bath was followed by a 50 minute relaxing massage for two in the exclusive ‘Double’s Room’ making for a unique and intimate experience. Their bodies were infused with energy transmitted from the feel and aromas of the special oils. After the treatment they relaxed by the indoor pool with a glass of champagne and strawberries.
Bette and Tina took full advantage of the hotel’s spa facility and enjoyed the amenities. They did manicures, pedicures, hair and makeup and finally by the late afternoon they were ready to venture out for more sightseeing. They strolled the streets and piazzas and stopped at a beautiful café on the Piazza Navona where they enjoy a steaming hot cappuccino.
When they finished they walked a bit more until they came to the Trevi Fountain. They threw coins in the fountain following the legend that whoever throws a coin in the fountain will return to Rome. They enjoyed an afternoon of touring, and shopping in the boutiques on Via Veneto then stopped at a local trattoria for an early dinner of pizza and pasta and each enjoyed a glass of Chianti. They headed back to the hotel to pack, change, and check out. They left Rome that evening and took the overnight luxury liner train to Paris.

Tina had booked a private cabin for two in the first class sleeper car. It had a large suite with a double bed. The private cabin had temperature controls, private shower and toilet, a service intercom, electrical outlets and recharging stations for laptops and cell phones. They supplied linens, blankets and towels. Each cabin had a key lock so they could secure their belongings whenever they would leave it.
The service also offered amenities such as wake-service, newspaper delivery and coffee and croissants in the morning. Bette and Tina enjoyed a late evening supper in the dining car, had drinks in the lounge and met other travelers that they socialized with. After a few hours they said good night and turned in. Being used to their California King sized bed the couple had to make some adjustments but they managed to make love in the close quarters and enjoyed the best part of the honeymoon as the train sped between Italy and France.
