    The one where Bette comes home

    “Does this apply to following me into the shower ?”

    “Well I hadn’t thought about that but now that you mention it – yes “

    Bette sighed and rested her head on the head rest of the car

    “Ti “

    Tina looked over at her “Yeah ?”

    “I want to be able to take care of you “

    Tina rested her hand on Bette’s thigh “I know – like you getting your appetite back for food – it will take a while and as I said – I don’t care – I just thrilled that you are on your feet and the doctors are so happy with you “

    Bette yawned “I think I need a nap “

    “It will be 15 minutes before we get home “

    “Do you mind ?”

    “I don’t think you are capable of staying awake “

    “You could be right “

    Bette closed her eyes “Okay “

    And in a few seconds Bette was sleeping – Tina slowed down her speed as she carried her very precious cargo back to their home.

    Bette was just stretching and yawning when Tina parked the car in  the drive of the house.

    “Home “ Tina announced

    “Oh great “

    Tina got out of the car and hurried round to open the passenger door for Bette who smiled at Tina as she climbed out “Thank you “

    “Pleasure “

    Bette frowned “ Where is my briefcase ?”

    “Its in the house – James dropped it off “

    “Oh right –  it just crossed my mind  – funny how you associated some objects with moments. I am always reaching for the house keys when I get out of the car “

    “All your stuff is safe and secure “ Tina assured her “And most important to me – so are you “

    Tina unlocked the front door and walked into the house. There were several bunches of flowers in vases around the house

    “All for you “ Tina explained to Bette who was looking at one bouquet “That one is from Kit – she will come and see you when you are feeling a little stronger “

    “That’s a really over the top one “ Bette said seeing one that was full of the most exotic looking wisps of leaves and decoration as well as flowers
