Something so right -chapter 63
SOMETHING SO RIGHT
Chapter 63
Tina put on a jacket and as she fitted her earrings she walked to the bedroom door and looked to see if Finn and Bette were ready yet. Finn was in jeans and a checked shirt – he looked fine. His long blonde hair was hanging loose and Tina knew that he was gradually settling down to life in the city. They were going to have to leave him from Monday – she just hoped that he would be okay. Bette walked in from the kitchen – she was wearing black trousers and a soft cream coloured shirt – Tina saw Bette look at Finn with an appraising eye and she shook her head
“Finbar – you and I are going shopping very soon “
He looked at her and smiled “ Are we ? Why ?”
“Do I take it that your new life would involve having some sex ?”
Finn nodded “ It would good “
“High on your list of ambitions ?” Bette teased
“I am a good looking boy “
Tina suppressed a chuckle and kept watching the interaction between her lover and her brother. Bette nodded
“Well I am a lesbian and I am more attracted to your beautiful older sister but yes – you have a certain charm. However – and this is a big however – checked shirts are NOT going to get you laid unless she has hayseed between her teeth “
Finn grinned in reply “ You think Bette ? “
Bette nodded “ I know – you and I going shopping when your sister is not allowed. I am not going to wrap you in cotton wool “
“You don’t want to protect me ?”
“I think you need some guidance for a few weeks. But you are a man – not a boy. Maybe you need to be treated like a man -not a boy. It has been a shock you just turning up but I do want the best for you – I know how much Tina loves you “
“Do you think that me moving to LA is going to be a good thing ?”

Please not a “friendship” ring. Or worse still, an “abstinence” ring. Do you have those silly things in Britain, Ally? Since you guys shipped most of your fundamentalists over here generations ago, I’m hoping you’ve escaped some of our sillier repressive attitudes borne of puritanism. No, I don’t think I have to worry about Bette giving Tina one of those.
Nice very nice. Finn may prove to fit right in.
Why else would you buy your girlfriend a ring except to ask her to marry you…otherwise just buy her some other jewelry. Ask her Bette…I’ll bet she says yes! Ally…simply superb…again!
AllyE great chapter. Finn, once his farm edges are smoothed off wil be quite a gentleman. One that knows how to take care of his family and not let anyone (Alice) intefere or get more info than they need. He is a quick learner and I loved how he came to our girls’ defense when Alice asked just one too many questions. If just once her brain would engage before her mouth it would be lovely and put the brakes on that mouth before it says something it shouldn’t. Alice has a heart of gold but she does insane things sometimes. And as far I’m concerned it is not part of her charm. Good job. Post when you can.
Finn is adorable. And what a wonderful development on the lovely twosome. Go fo the ring Bette
Every chapter of every story is outstanding.
Finn is cute and like the way he protect Bette and Tina. Maybe Bette should buy Tina watch or earings or neckles but not a ring if she not ask her to marry her. PPST!
Finn is so sweet. I am glad Bette wants to buy Tina a ring. Now Bette ask that wonderful woman to be your wife. Thank you Ally
don’t buy tina a watch, IC has everyone breaking up when they buy a watch! finn is adorable, lol… alice is too much. bette needs to ask tina! :)PPS
It’s a great idea, and Bette should totally do it as soon as possible, and I like the way they are dealing with Finn. Thanks Ally, can’t wait for the next post. Love
a ring huuu ? this is getting serious :)thanks ally and PPS
