Tina smiled as she stood in the living room facing the brunette who was dressed casually in jeans and a rather tight t-shirt. 

“Please come in and sit down. I took the liberty of having some food and drinks delivered this evening.  I wasn’t sure what you would like so I got a little of everything.  I hope this is ok.”

“Oh, you didn’t have to do that Bette.  It was very nice of you though.  You are very thoughtful.”

Bette knew she couldn’t blush but she felt as if it was possible when Tina spoke to her like that. 

“Yes, well…um shall we begin? Please help yourself to whatever is here.”

“Do you miss it?”  Tina asked as she saw Bette glide to the couch. 

“Food? Well, yes I guess I do.  I was never much of an eater when I was…years ago but I do miss some things.  I miss the coolness of ice cream, and the richness of chocolate.  I miss the feel of a warm cup of tea on a very cold day.  I guess I miss the sensations more than the actual food.  Eating can be a very sensuous experience. Don’t you think?”

Tina mouth dropped almost losing the strawberry that she had just taken a bite out of as Bette was speaking.  She coughed slightly as she gathered herself.  “Uh, yes. I think I know what you mean.”  She quickly made herself busy by taking out her notebook and looking for a clean page.  Bette smiled knowing she had inadvertently undone the beautiful witch.  “You, ok?”

“Yes, yes I’m…uh fine…I’m just looking for my pen.  Ah, here it is ok.”   She looked up at the smiling brunette and smiled back. Tina put on her glasses which made Bette’s smile grow bigger. God, she’s cute.“Ok, let’s get started.  I need to have as much information and as many details as possible about the night you were turned Bette.  It’s important that you tell me everything you can remember even if something seems trivial or stupid.  You can’t leave anything out.  It might mean the difference between success and failure.”

Bette’s smile was suddenly gone.  She thought back to that night carefully trying to remember everything she could.  “Can I ask why it’s so important Tina?”
