    Soul Harvest: Chapter 52

The next morning Tina stumbled into the kitchen, hair sticking out but at least she put a t-shirt on before roaming around. She rubbed her eyes and groaned when the sunlight hit her face.

Morning sunshine. Bette said as she poured Tina a cup of coffee.

    What time is it?

Its almost noon. I dont think Ive ever seen the day where Ive beat you out of bed.

God my head is pounding. Tina plopped herself down next to Bette.

Drink this and take these before you drink that coffee. She handed her two advil and a glass of water.

Julie walked into the kitchen, imitating Tinas exact moves and Bette laughed at their similarities. Well ladies, its time to get ready to leave, huh? Our flight leaves in three hours. Wed better get moving.

Three hours! We have stuff all over this place. Tina whined.

    T, I already packed everything.

Tina looked around noticing how tidy everything was.

Theres a keeper if Ive ever seen one, Tina. Julie said.

Tina looked at Bette and pretended to kiss, then licking her lips in an attempt to be *****, implying Bette would get lucky later. Bette laughed at Tinas appearance, thinking she was cuter than ***** at the moment, hung over wearing the same clothes as last night.

They left for the airport and met Tinas parents there, as their plane was leaving around the same time. Bette dreaded the goodbye scene with them.

Bye mom, dad. Tina said, hugging them.

Ellen, Paul, it was nice to meet you. They shook hands.

There was an awkward silence for most of the time but soon enough Ellen and Paul left, leaving no promises to Tina about keeping in contact.

Thank god thats over. Tina sighed.

Theyll get over it. Give it more time. Julie put her arm around her.

So when are you coming to visit? Bette asked as they checked their bags.

    Maybe sooner than later.

    Really? Tina asked.

Really. Say for an entire week? With a friend?

    What kind of friend?

Well… hes just a friend who wants to see sunny LA. Were coming out at the end of the month, right around your birthday. Julie blushed slightly.
