Wow. Have fun other than that? Alice couldnt help but smirk.
It was fun. Her sister is great and shes coming out here soon for a visit with her boyfriend.
Fun. Alice looked at Bette closely. Hey are you ok?
Im fine, just tired.
Hm… ok but I can tell when somethings on your mind.
Bette took a moment to decide whether or not she wanted to confide in Alice. She looked at her best friend and chose to let it out.
This weekend really made me love Tina with depth I never knew existed. Knowing she cared for me so much she was willing to take me along despite her parents approval just warmed my heart. I fell so much more in love with her. And when she left tonight to go to her place, it made me wish we could fall asleep together.
Jesus, Bette youre turning into an old married couple. Now youre telling me you want to move in together! Alice guessed.
Bette looked at her with a guilty look on her face.
And this from the woman who five months ago was ready to run? Alice glanced at Bette with a smile on her face, so happy for Bette. She truly loved seeing this side of her friend and loved Tina as well. She would do anything to encourage them to stay together and she thought them moving in together was a brilliant idea.
Well, yes I want to live with her but I was thinking of something else. Bette replied slowly. Now she had Alices full attention.

What if I told you I was thinking about talking to Tina about having a commitment ceremony?
Alices eyes bugged out of her head. My god, Bette. Marriage? I didnt think you had it in you!

Maybe once a while ago. I dont know, Al. I cant imagine my life without her and I want everyone to know that we are a family, committed and serious.
