Chapter 1
Salutation to the Dawn
Look to this day, for it is Life,
The very Life of Life.
Within its brief span, lie all the Verities,
And realities of your existence.
The Bliss of Growth.
The Glory of Action.
The splendor of Beauty.
And tomorrow is but a Vision
But today well lived makes every
Yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of Hope.
Look well therefore to this day.
Tina was trying to hustle. She was late. “Think first row parking. Think first row parking.” Tina says out loud. Trying to use the power of positive thinking to get her that first row parking spot, Tina continued to whisper under her breath. If successful it will help keep her from being so late for class that she will get marked absent.
Racing into the closest student parking lot, Tina swings the car around the corner and providence proved to be on her side. At the end of the first row a car’s reverse lights had just lit up indicating it was pulling out of the space. “Yes” Tina says excited that fate is on her side.
Pulling up into position to wait, Tina is hitting her stirring wheel, “Come on … come on pull out already.”
The car finally completes its maneuver and pulls away allowing Tina the space to whip in. Throwing the car in park, she quickly grabs her books and any other material needed for today, slams the car door shut with her foot. Tina races up the sidewalk in a quick dash to get to class turning her upper body just enough while pressing the lock button on her key fob to hear the distinctive beep of the car signaling it’s locked.
Heads turn as the blonde beauty hurries by. Part of Tina’s exquisiteness is her total lack of understanding of just how captivating her appearance is to onlookers. With a stature that is five feet seven inches tall she looks taller as her long legs carry her along accenting her slender build. Her blonde hair hangs freely down to her shoulders and brings out the golden specks in her hazel eyes giving them warmth that people feel when they meet her. Her joy of life is obvious to anyone who sees her and when they watch that smile crosses her face they can’t help but smile too. It’s a genuine smile which comes out quickly and stays on for the duration.

Different, that´s for sure but definitely interesting.
Hm.. Please correct me if I’m wrong… So the main story is in the present, and the following story-nomadic life is in the past… And Bette was a man.. Which is interesting approach :-p does it meant Bette will be a woman in the present life in such of a reincarnation way or?? LOL yup! Confusing! But maybe only for me..:-p. I’ll keep following your posting to find out more :-) thanks for the new story. :-)

very interesting but if you believe in reincarnation than of course Bette could be anyone, even a cat LOL will be interesting to see how present life and past life are connected…
