Tina had met Justin Havor when she was six years old. Justin’s father was a partner in her own father’s law firm which facilitated Tina and Justin being forced into each others company for many social obligations. Despite Justin being older, three years, Tina was the outgoing one who welcomed him into the tight knit social circle that was the upper class of Austin Texas.
Justin’s family arrived from New Orleans where apparently the social rules were a little different. Tina took pity on the shy good looking boy who seemed to totally be out of his element when it came to displaying the right social graces for Texas. It didn’t hurt that Tina liked him, he had sad eyes reminded her of a sad puppy dog and God knows you have to come to the rescue of sad puppy dogs.
As time moved forward they soon became inseparable. Together Tina taught Justin the ropes, the ins and outs of what was acceptable but also what could be gotten away with, which for them proved to be considerable. They made a formidable team with Justin catching on as quickly as Tina instructed. Over time they built a bond of trust and kinship. Justin became the brother that Tina didn’t have and Tina became Justin’s guiding light. This bond between the two of them that soon became the two of them against everyone else.
They had each other’s back. This became necessary when their parents got involved. All through High School whenever either of them got into trouble the other was always there to bail them out or if the foul was too great, help mitigate the penalties.
Justin helped cover for Tina’s tendency to buck authority and reject the perks of her given family status. This rebellious streak led to many rows between Tina and her parents. It got to the point where her parents would often turn to Justin to talk some sense into Tina. Justin’s style was easy. He showed a ready willingness gave Tina’s parents a sense of ease by helping them manage Tina. Amiable and eager to please, he gave them a false sense of hope that he could reason with a headstrong little girl eventually getting their daughter to come around to their way of thinking.

Different, that´s for sure but definitely interesting.
Hm.. Please correct me if I’m wrong… So the main story is in the present, and the following story-nomadic life is in the past… And Bette was a man.. Which is interesting approach :-p does it meant Bette will be a woman in the present life in such of a reincarnation way or?? LOL yup! Confusing! But maybe only for me..:-p. I’ll keep following your posting to find out more :-) thanks for the new story. :-)
