Bette nodded
“Angie misses her too”
“Only Angie” Helena asked
Bette remained silent
“I can’t believe how you two have managed to make a
mess out of something that was obviously so special between the two”
“Me…all she had to do was do what I asked of her…she
didn’t have to be so stubborn” Bette said
“Oh really so you think Tina should have given in to
your ultimatums and further fed the insecurity issues you obviously have?”
“I am not insecure and those were not ultimatums”
“Oh yes they were, if you knew Tina at all you
should have known that she is fiercely loyal and honest, you should have know
she would have never agreed to do what you asked and you trying to bully her
only pushed her further away…I know this is partially my fault and when I found
out I was the cause of your lovers spat I offered to move into a hotel but she
would not hear of it she threatened to send me on assignment to Alaska for
fucks sake!”
They laughed
“That’s my T” Bette smiled
Helena smiled as well
“You know she would never intentionally hurt you,
and she would never give you cause to mistrust her, she is loyal beyond belief
I’m surprised being in the business we’re in she’s gotten so far being so
honest and I know she would never ever give into temptation and cheat on you”
“How do you know?” Bette asked
“Did she ever tell you how we met and why things
ended between us?” Helena asked
‘No”
Helena smiled
“I met Tina about 5 years ago I was working at a
Studio in New York as a Script Developer I was known for having a pretty good
instincts when it came to choosing a manuscript to develop into a movie, one
day I received a short manuscript on my desk I thought it would make for a
great documentary when I approached the studio I worked for about this, they
turned me down they were only interested in big block buster movies they wanted
to make movies that made millions not movies with a message that might win
awards and make a difference. I wanted
to see this documentary made not only because I believed in the story but I was
also very attracted to the owner of the script her name was Dylan Mooreland we
began seeing each other it was a relationship based on only sex, see back then
I only did sex no relationships and with Dylan… I don’t know why I couldn’t get
enough of her I wasn’t in love it was more like lust. So I searched for a
studio that would make this documentary, one of my colleagues told me about
this young up and coming producer who might be able to help me her name was
Tina Kennard. Tina, she was still very
new in the business but she already had a reputation for being honest and
staying true to the script so I called her, she sounded genuinely interested in
making the documentary so we set up a meeting.”

I still say , Tina needs to apologize.
It wasn’t Helena’s place to have that talk with Bette. I don’t trust her and I can’t believe if Tina was so in love with Helena that one night with Dylan would have been the end of them. I hate when Helena, Tina and Jodi work on Bette’s fragile emotions to manipulate her. Helena needs to move out of Tina’s house and keep her distance to give these two a chance. If Tina is threatening Helena with her job for personal reasons then I would say that is a conflict of interest. Jodi is obviously a non-issue for Bette but I’m not sure Helena is. Glad to see you back with this story even if I’m in disagreement about how it’s going.
Great update! Hopefully w/ Helena’s help Bette and Tina can’t get back to the love they once shared. PPS!

So glad that jodi is an idiot. Really happy that Bette told her where to go. Now with any luck Bette is on her way to see Tina and apologize for being an idiot as well. Hopefully Tina will accept her apology and let Helena move into a hotel which is best for all concerned. I’m torn as to whether or not Tina needed to tell Bette about Helena, after all it is in the past in Tina’s mind, not so sure about Helena’s, maybe, maybe not just not sure on that. At any rate I’m glad that Helena explained to Bette what had happened and that their relationship at this point is platonic. Although platonic, I don’t think it is ever a good idea to be friends with an ex when you know that your partner has a jealous streak and that she has been hurt very badly in the past. Jealousy is a very bad thing and sometimes doesn’t lessen over time even though they have all the explanations in the world regarding whatever has them in a snit. Hopefully they can make up before Tina leaves for her trip which will make her get back home as fast as possible. Have really missed the story, thanks so much for coming back to us.
