A minute into the massage Alice turns her over, giving her one of those mind blowing kisses. After that Alice asks her ’What do you think about meeting my Mom and my brother- I mean I want my family to meet my future life partner.” Tasha replies sure that would be great. Later that night Alice gets a call from Phyllis saying she would like to meet her for lunch, she agrees to meet her at a cafe. Looking at Tasha as she sleeps wondering if she should tell her. But thinking in her mind , Tasha knows I love her, and knows there is nothing between me and Phyllis; so she thinks not to. So Alice lays beside Tasha and falls to sleep.
Alice awakes the next morning first; she is sleeping close to Tasha (spooning). She kisses the back of Tasha’s neck and Tasha awakes and turns to look at her. Alice then kisses Tasha on the mouth, intiating one of those nice, deep, soulful kisses that has come to define their relationship…Tasha is into it, but pulls away, slowly and smiling….she says, ”as much as I want to, I think we better try to get some things done so that the bills will be paid in both our houses”…”I’ve got some things to take care of and you’ve got your show to do”…Alice looks at her and sighs in agreement. She smiles and says a low but audible, ”yeah.”
She’s running the fact in her mind that she doesn’t need to tell Tasha about the lunch date with Phyllis, but she is trying to do a good job convincing herself of this, so she’s back to debating if she should or not; she’s thinking, I love Tash, it’s just a lunch between friends and besides, I can show Phyllis the ring, tell her my love for Tash, how happy I am and put some closure of sorts on my relationship with her. With that, she’s back to ”no tell.”
Tasha is thinking of her day ahead this weekend has been wonderful, probably the best one she’s had since coming home. The time spent with Alice, deciding to make the commitment, taking that step to get out and go has been almost healing in a way. But Tasha is a realist, she knows that honeymoons do end, or get derailed in the day to day of everyday life and relationships. She knows she’s got to strengthen herself for the long run, cuz now, she’s including someone else in the mix; someone she cares deeply about. Tasha gets out of bed gets dressed in her sexy jeans with a pullover tee-shirt nice n tight, kisses Alice on the cheek as Alice is showering theres a knock at the door -Tasha goes to answer it. Tasha looks upon Phyllis with disbelief but doesn’t think anything of it,as she heads out.

I remember this story, I did not contribute either but I remember checking for and reading the new updates almost every day, it was great.
