When Janet got up to fix breakfast she noticed Tashas bedroom door was open but could tell no one was in there. Thinking they were downstairs she makes her way down the stairs to the kitchen to begin making breakfast. On her way into the kitchen, she sees Chris in the dining room eating a bowl of cereal.

“Good morning sunshine, “Janet says kissing Chris on the forehead.

“Good morning to you too mom did you sleep well?” Before Janet could respond she noticed no one came out of the kitchen.

“Yes, I did where is Slim and Alice?” Chris didn’t get a chance to respond as both Alice and Tasha walked through the front door holding hands and wearing smiles.

“Hey mom, did you sleep well last night, “when Tasha was saying that she was looking at Alice.

“Are you talking to me I’m over here?” Tasha felt like she could take on the whole world the smile on her face said it all.

“Janet did you have breakfast yet?”

“No, not yet.”

“Let’s go out and eat breakfast, “Tasha suggested as she kissed Alice on the cheek.

“Yeah, let’s go to IHOP that sounds like a great idea but me and Slim we’ll be a minute we need to freshen up a bit.” Grabbing Tasha hand they go upstairs and shower. It was an hour and some minutes later when they meet Janet and Christina downstairs.

“Sorry for the wait my shower felt exceptionally good this morning, “Alice says only to have a puzzled look appear on Janets face.

“You took long enough what else were you two doing up there, “Christina whispered to Tasha who ignored her.

“Okay ladies off to IHOP we go, “Janet says standing up and heading to the car. Janet rode with Alice and Tasha while Christina drove her own car. They arrived at IHOP the waiter seated them at a table with a great view of the city.  Janet ordered some blueberry pancakes, Tasha ordered steak, eggs, and grits, Alice ordered strawberry pancakes with whipped cream on top, and Chris ordered a small order of French toast.

”Slim, I can’t believe you going to eat that it is like you haven’t eaten all,” Janet said.

”Mom, they must have been doing something to have an appetite like that, “Chris says sarcastically.      Janet almost choked on her orange juice. She really doesn’t want to imagine her children having sex. Alice gave Tasha some of her pancakes and she managed to get some whipped cream on Tashas nose.
