Talice Lovers: Chapter 3

”Ok, fabulous, let’s go.” All of them get in their separate cars following Tasha to Faye’s. When everybody got to Faye’s they got a nice corner table and ordered dinner and drinks. Tasha was enjoying the camaraderie of the group while totally into Alice happy this was how the evening before the funeral would be…something light. She been mourning in her own way off and on all day. In between her lovemaking sessions with Alice she would try to drift off to sleep and manage a nice hard but short nap at one point. Most of the time when they were replenishing their energy she was holding Alice and thinking of all the things she wanted to say yet do it in a manner that would make her dad proud. Short but sweet especially to those he loved and cared about the most. There were times when her dad had a funny way of showing love (and managed to put everyone through hell every now and then). But through all the chaos being in the service and all Tasha, Chris, and their mother knew he loved them very much and that they mattered to him.
Papi caught the attention of an attractive women at the bar. Looking a little like Angelina Jolie she sent a drink over to her table. Papi looked at the drink then caught her eye and gave a head nod up, ”Thanks.”
“Uhmmmm, who’s that from, “Kit asked.
“That pretty lady over there, “and motions at the area where the admirer is sitting.
“So you going to go say something to her?”
“Nooo, I’m with you remember.”
“Uh no you’re not, “she says giving Papi a friendly peck on the cheek. The pretty woman is still looking when Papi shrugs her shoulders and smiles at her as if to say sorry but I’m taken. Tasha, Alice, Shane and Helena look at each other and laugh.
“Uhmmm, Papi must still be sprung cause I’ve never known her to turn down some pussy.” Everybody laughs at the observation and continues to tease Papi. After a very nice night, the morning came and it was time for Tasha to bury her dad. Alice felt Tasha, as Tasha kissed her shoulder when she got up. She looked at the clock and decided it was too early for her just yet. The funeral was at 11am and it was 5 am when Tasha got up. She put on some sweats and went downstairs deciding she’d sit on the porch and watch the sun come up and think about what she’d say. Tasha needed some time alone to gather her thoughts. Shortly after Tasha got up, her mother got up and noticed that Tasha was sitting on the porch she quietly came outside to join her for a minute.
