Tasha looking over at Alice, ”I’m really not hungry, but knowing mom like I do, she will make me eat anyway.” Heading downstairs towards the kitchen they smell something delicious.

“Mom you made lasagna, ”Tasha says walking towards the oven.

”I made it a special way, I thought Alice would like it didn’t you tell me she was a vegetarian?”

“Yes, I did, “she smiling at Alice.

”Mrs. Williams I can’t believe you remember that thank you, “Alice said while trying to look in the oven.

”Yes, I remember a lot of things my daughters tell me, but I see you forgot to call me Janet.” They all had a little laugh off of that one.

”Is Chris and Dee joining us for dinner,” Tasha asked her mother.

”Honestly I don’t know if she will or not,” Janet sadly says, “But if it’s just the three of us, so be it.” Tasha quickly pulls Alice to her for a quick kiss.

“I saw that I’m only inches away from you two.”  Alice helped Tasha set the table, while Janet brought the food to the table.”

“Mom you really out done yourself,” Tasha smelling the lasagna. They prayed over the food before they started to eat.

”Oh Janet, this is the best lasagna I’ve ever had,” Alice says as she took another bite from her fork. Janet noticed the ring on Alice finger.

”So is there anything you two want to tell me,” Janet looked directly at Tasha

Tasha meets her mother’s gaze then looks at Alice they both smile and Tasha turns to her mother, ”Yeah, I guess there is.”

”Mom, you really outdid yourself with this dinner.” At this point, Tasha is looking at Alice and they both bust out laughing. They know exactly what Janet was hinting at. Alice caught Janet’s glance at the ring. She was tickled that Tasha would get a little humorous with the answer, especially since Tasha is so serious most of the time and especially (and understandably) right now. But Alice was really pleased to see Tasha so light hearted, because she knew there were more emotional times to come. Janet too, was glad to see Tasha lighten up just a little (so intense, like her Dad, she’d thought) I guess that is what love will do to you, Janet says to herself.

    1. I am a true blue Tibette fan, but I love Tasha so I look forward to reading more of this fic. I did not like the Alice from the show or most of the fiction here being portrayed as a nosy busy body so I look forward to seeing her in a new light. PPS :)
