    ”I am so sorry, I wished I was there for you.”

    ”I know, but thank you.”

    ”So is this your sister?”

    ”Oh, yeah, Tasha this is Desire,” Desire offers her hand, ”You can call me Dee for short.”

    ”Nice to meet you and this is Alice, my girlfriend.”

    ”Nice to meet you, Alice I wish I could have met you both under different circumstances.” Tasha and Alice notice that Desire and Christina are holding hands. Alice gives her that what’s going on look.

    ”Tasha, do you remember when I asked you can I go with you to Cali?”

    ”Yeah, I do.”

    ”Well…,.” Christina starts to hesitate but Desire tugs on her hand, ”Me and Desire are kind of seeing each other. When I told Dad 3 weeks ago, he was very upset and I noticed that he started to become ill. That is why I blame myself for his death.” She starts choking on her tears and Dee grabs her in a tight hug and rubs her back to soothe her. Tasha and Alice are both in shock.

    ”Wait? What? How come you never told me!?”

    “I don’t know I just couldn’t’ hell I could barely even tell mom.”

    “Chrissy, “Tasha used the name she called Christina when they were little, “How did mom take it?”

    “I don’t know, I was sure she wouldn’t have a problem with it but now I think maybe I broke her heart right along with dads.”

    “Don’t say that, you are who you are,” Tasha laughed out loud for a minute.

    “What’s so funny?” Dee asked.

    “Can you picture Aunt Vera shaking her head while whispering to the other family members about us?”

    Christina understanding fully what she was talking about laughed, “Yeah and then pulling mom to the side saying something like Janet I understand that now may not be the time but both of them?”

    “Does your family know you’re gay?” Alice asked Tasha.

    “Well most of them should I’ve been out for almost 6 years. My mom has made no effort to hide anything. When they see Chris with a girl that’s when they are going to hit the roof.” Christina decided to change the subject not wanting to think about dealing with her family until the time came.

    1. I am a true blue Tibette fan, but I love Tasha so I look forward to reading more of this fic. I did not like the Alice from the show or most of the fiction here being portrayed as a nosy busy body so I look forward to seeing her in a new light. PPS :)
