“Tasha please talk to me I’m here for you,” Alice says hoping Tasha will answer her. Christina in the back, puzzled by everything, really wanting to know where Tasha was taking them.
”At least tell us where you’re taking us,” Christina asked in a calm tine. Tasha ignoring them both just stared straight ahead driving in silence. The silence was killing Alice as she didn’t know how to break through to Tasha. Meanwhile, thoughts and mental images were swirling in Tasha head. Memories of her father and herself going to their special place, playing catch, him holding her on his lap.
“He can’t be gone, “she thought, “There’s no way.” Then she relived the moment before when she introduced Alice to him. She recalled with a vivid acuteness the moment he flat lined. “Oh God, “she thought, “Please don’t let me be the cause please don’t let me be the reason my dad is dead.” Suddenly big, hot, wet tears came cascading down Tasha’s face. Her shoulders started heaving with the force of her sobs, making her vision blurry Alice looked over at her alarmed.
”Tash baby, I know it hurts pull over and let me drive okay.” Just as they were going around a steep bend, a 18 wheeler truck came barreling straight at them.
”Tasha watch out,” Alice screamed. Tasha swerved at the last possible second. The car slid across the dirt heading towards a tree. Tasha heard both Alice and Christina scream. Tasha tried to brake but the car just kept going.
“Oh God, “Tasha thought, “I’m gonna kill us all!” Miraculously, the car stopped inches from the tree. Tasha slumped against the wheel and let out a sigh of relief.
”Dammit Tash, you could have killed us, ”Christina yelled, her voice high pitched from panic.
“I’m sorry,” Tasha says her voice coarse from crying, “Al are u ok?”
“Yeah I think I might have shit my pants though.” Christina let out a nervous laugh.
“Ok let me get us back on the road.”
“Tash why don’t u let me drive please baby?”
“Okay, I’ll give you the directions.” Tasha and Alice switched places in the car. When Tasha sat in the passenger side she let her head back and closed her eyes. Alice reached over and touched her face. Tears flowed from Tasha’s eyes. Christina looked on from the back seat. She was happy her sister had found happiness even in this time of despair. It was at that moment she knew there was nothing Alice wouldn’t do for Tasha. Alice safely drove them to Whisper Creek. They got out of the car and Tasha grabbed Christina’s hand.

I am a true blue Tibette fan, but I love Tasha so I look forward to reading more of this fic. I did not like the Alice from the show or most of the fiction here being portrayed as a nosy busy body so I look forward to seeing her in a new light. PPS :)
