    Tina and Catherine meet one on one

    Chapter 16

      

    Tina had a splitting headache, she rubbed her temples as she sat behind her desk, she had piles and piles of scripts she had to go over before the meeting next week plus she had to come up with a budget for a new movie she was working on.

    ‘Get it together Kennard’ she talked to herself ‘you, just got the promotion don’t screw it up’

    She hit the intercom button on her phone and asked her new assistant Heather for a cup of coffee and 2 aspirins, the events of yesterday were to blame for her misery this morning after her encounter with Bette at her office she met up with Shane and Alice who had noticed her shitty mood and convinced her to join them at MILK later that evening.

    Tina had a little too much to drink, had taken a pretty little blonde by the name of Brenda home and spent most of the night awake having sex, this was so unlike her she thought to herself again, why did I do that? 

    Bette, Tina was so confused about her. Tina had gotten the impression that Bette had wanted nothing to do with her after that night, and then at the Launch party Bette barely spoke to her instead it seemed to Tina that Bette was doing her best to avoid her, and then yesterday at her office she kisses me? WTF? And now she wants to talk? Tina found her headache getting stronger just then there was a knock at the door as her assistant entered with her coffee and aspirins.

    “Thanks Heather”

    “Rough night boss?” Heather asked

    “Yeah something like that”

    “Heather can you get me Jenny Schechter on the phone please?”

    “Sure thing, give me minute and ill patch the call through”

    “Thanks”

    Tina sat back in her chairs took the pills and took a sip of her coffee

    “So good” she said to herself just then intercom sounded

    “Yes”

    “Jenny Schechter, line 1”

    “Thank you”

    “Hey Jenny, it s Tina”

    “Hello, Tina how are you?”

    “Right now not too good but listen I have some good news for you, I’ve gotten approval from Helena and Aaron and were all set to start the casting for your movie  I’m actually putting together a budget now, and I’m going to start to scout some locations myself”

    1. Thanks for the wonderful update… I am certainly able to understand why Tina is so confused. Bette’s behavior has been puzzling at best. I’m so relieved that she turned Helena down but she is certainly playing with fire in regards to Catherine. Hmmm…can’t wait for more. Hope you post the next chapter soon.

Thank you for the update…..I was hoping to read you update everytime I visit the site…..I guess Tina want’s to know how serious is Catherine/Bette relationship, so she agreed to have coffee w/ her……..Bette needs to prove to T that she’s inlove w/ her……Where is Bette by the way?….I think she is hurt the way T left her office…..but Im glad to know they will be together soon, now that Helena is out of the way …… I hope to see your next post when you have a chance….thanks.

    11. I am enjoying the different people in different professions; like Bette owning a magazine. I cannot wait for Tina and Better to meet at the dinner and gallery opening. My heart is POUNDING really fast. PPS

    13. So happy to see a new post! I learned long ago to develop LOTS of patience when it comes to being a fan fiction reader. Most often the wait is well worth it. I really do love how you pace the story and keep it all connected. Yes I too missed Bette in this one, but know there is a reason for everything, right? Can’t wait for the rest!

    18. Glad that Tina turn down Helena. They will make beautiful friends. Now Catherine is a diferent story, I remember what she said about Tina when she worked for Bette. Where is Bette, she is going to lose Tina,After all Tina and Brenda has been together.
