“Yes, yes I did” Tina replied with a smile
“Well Tina, you sure do clean up nicely” Catherine said with a raised brow
I think she’s flirting with me. Tina thought
“So are you and Bette still dating?” Tina asked before she could stop herself
“I’m sorry Catherine that’s none of my business, I shouldn’t have asked” Tina quickly said
“No, no don’t worry about it I don’t know if Bette and I ever actually dated, lets just say we enjoy each other company” Catherine winked at Tina
Tina felt the red rise to her cheeks and quickly changed the subject
“So Catherine if you can please look over the papers I gave you, then you can decide if you would allow us to use your gallery in our picture, Its really perfect, if you can let me know ASAP, I would really appreciate it” Tina reached into her jacket pocket and pilled out one of her business cards. “This is my card my office number and e-mail are on it, give me a call or send me an e-mail when you decide”
“No. problem Tina, I’ll just have my lawyer look over the contact and I’ll get back to you. Tina how would you like to join me for a cup of coffee? There’s this little café a couple of doors down” Catherine asked
Tina was going turn the red head down, but something compelled her to accept her offer.
“Sure, that would be nice I’d love to join you for a cup of coffee.” Tina replied
“Let me run to my office to get my purse I’ll meet you at the front desk”
“Ok” Tina said
Tina and Catherine had been sitting at the café talking for over an hour, Tina was glad to learn that Catherine was not the snob Tina thought she was, to Tina’s surprise she found Catherine to be very articulate and intelligent. No wonder Bette liked spending time with Catherine, Tina was sure they had a lot in common including their love of art.
“Catherine thanks for the coffee time, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to call it a day.” Tina got up and extended her hand toward Catherine “It really was a pleasure talking to you”
“Same here Tina, listen a week form Friday I’m having the opening for the show I’m staging now “Provocations” why don’t you and guest come that way you can check out the space your interested in for your movie?” Catherine asked
“Catherine that sounds great, I would love to”
“Great I’ll put your name down on the list; I’m having an artist dinner before the show opens I would like you to attend that as well”
“Catherine e-mil me the specifics and I’ll see you then”
“Tina really it was a pleasure”
“Same here Catherine, see you soon” Tina waved as she walked back to her car.

Thanks for the wonderful update… I am certainly able to understand why Tina is so confused. Bette’s behavior has been puzzling at best. I’m so relieved that she turned Helena down but she is certainly playing with fire in regards to Catherine. Hmmm…can’t wait for more. Hope you post the next chapter soon.
ooooooh, I like your throwing Catherine in the mix. Maybe that will give Bette the kick in the pants she needs!

Thank you for the update…..I was hoping to read you update everytime I visit the site…..I guess Tina want’s to know how serious is Catherine/Bette relationship, so she agreed to have coffee w/ her……..Bette needs to prove to T that she’s inlove w/ her……Where is Bette by the way?….I think she is hurt the way T left her office…..but Im glad to know they will be together soon, now that Helena is out of the way …… I hope to see your next post when you have a chance….thanks.

I am enjoying the different people in different professions; like Bette owning a magazine. I cannot wait for Tina and Better to meet at the dinner and gallery opening. My heart is POUNDING really fast. PPS

So happy to see a new post! I learned long ago to develop LOTS of patience when it comes to being a fan fiction reader. Most often the wait is well worth it. I really do love how you pace the story and keep it all connected. Yes I too missed Bette in this one, but know there is a reason for everything, right? Can’t wait for the rest!

Glad that Tina turn down Helena. They will make beautiful friends. Now Catherine is a diferent story, I remember what she said about Tina when she worked for Bette. Where is Bette, she is going to lose Tina,After all Tina and Brenda has been together.
