No, no Heather go on home I’m going to grab my things and head out too, I’m beat”
“Ok, see you tomorrow”
As Tina grabbed a couple more scripts and her messages and placed them in her briefcase for later, there was another knock at her door.
“Yes, come in”
“Hia Tina, I was just on my out, I was hoping you were still here”
“Hi Helena, yeah I’m just getting my things together I’m on my way out as well, did you need to see me about something?” Tina asked
“I was wondering how the budget proposal for Jenny Schechter’s movie was coming along? I’m going to have a meeting with Aaron and I wanted to give him some kind of an update”
“I should have it ready by the meeting next week if not before, I’m going to scout out some potential locations tomorrow”
“Tina you are aware we actually have people on the payroll that can do that for you don’t you?”
“Yes, Helena I am fully aware of that, the writer is a very a good friend of my and I promised her I would be as involved as I could be, besides I believe in the story and I not only want it to be good I want it be great”
“Well I’m sure it will be, it’s a great story, I had a chance to briefly skim over it yesterday and it looks promising”
“Helena, Ill walk you out” Tina said
“How about you join me for dinner?” Helena asked
“I’m afraid I’m going to have to pass Helena I’m beat” Tina replied
“Rough day?”
“Not so much today, I had a rough last night”
“Didn’t get much sleep?” Helena asked
“Something like that” Tina replied with a twinkle in here eye
“Ok, understood, how about dinner tomorrow and then maybe a drink after words?”
Tina remained quiet for a second “Helena are you asking me out on a date?” Tina asked
“Well, yes I guess I am” Helena replied as they entered the elevator together
“Helena, I really respect and admire you and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity you’ve given me you took a chance on me when you hired me” Tina paused thinking of just the right words “I really don’t think dating one another is really a good idea, you’re my employer and you’ve become a good friend and I don’t want anything to ruin either relationship, I’m sorry I hope you understand”

Thanks for the wonderful update… I am certainly able to understand why Tina is so confused. Bette’s behavior has been puzzling at best. I’m so relieved that she turned Helena down but she is certainly playing with fire in regards to Catherine. Hmmm…can’t wait for more. Hope you post the next chapter soon.
ooooooh, I like your throwing Catherine in the mix. Maybe that will give Bette the kick in the pants she needs!

Thank you for the update…..I was hoping to read you update everytime I visit the site…..I guess Tina want’s to know how serious is Catherine/Bette relationship, so she agreed to have coffee w/ her……..Bette needs to prove to T that she’s inlove w/ her……Where is Bette by the way?….I think she is hurt the way T left her office…..but Im glad to know they will be together soon, now that Helena is out of the way …… I hope to see your next post when you have a chance….thanks.

I am enjoying the different people in different professions; like Bette owning a magazine. I cannot wait for Tina and Better to meet at the dinner and gallery opening. My heart is POUNDING really fast. PPS

So happy to see a new post! I learned long ago to develop LOTS of patience when it comes to being a fan fiction reader. Most often the wait is well worth it. I really do love how you pace the story and keep it all connected. Yes I too missed Bette in this one, but know there is a reason for everything, right? Can’t wait for the rest!

Glad that Tina turn down Helena. They will make beautiful friends. Now Catherine is a diferent story, I remember what she said about Tina when she worked for Bette. Where is Bette, she is going to lose Tina,After all Tina and Brenda has been together.
