“Wow Bette that sounds great I don’t think I’ve seen too many magazines on that subject”
“Exactly! Tina that’s why I’m so excited about it, but I think I have dug myself into a hole, I didn’t think it would take me this long to prepare a presentation, and I’m kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place and I want to ask for your help I need someone to type up my proposal and help me come up with some ideas you think you can help me?”
“Sure Bette I don’t know much about art but I’ll try to help anyway I can” Tina said excitingly
“I know tomorrow is Saturday but do you think you come and help me out?” asked Bette
“Yeah sure, Bette no problem I’ll be here what time?” asked Tina
“I’m meeting Shane tomorrow morning, so how about 10-ish?”
“Ok I’ll see you at 10”
“Great” said Bette
“Ok, I’m going to get back to work, oh and Bette I’m sorry again about lunch it won’t happen again.”
Later that evening…
Tina knocked on Bette’s door
“Come in” Bette said
When Tina entered her office and saw Bette dressed in her white Prada suite her curly hair loose falling over her shoulders her mouth suddenly fell open Tina swore she felt drool fall from the corner of her mouth.
“Yes Tina, did you need something?”
“Oh, yeah I just wanted to let you know I was going home, unless you needed anything else?”
“No, no thank you Tina, have a good night, I’ll see tomorrow?”
“Yeah, 10-ish right?”
“Yes 10-ish” Bette said as she gave Tina one of her Mega watt smiles.
Tina’s stomach did a flip flop and her mind started to cloud, she shook her head side to side and said:
“Here are your tickets, and I just phoned the driver he’ll be here in 10 minutes”
“Great Tina Thank you, again.”
Just as Tina started to walk out in walks the most beautiful redhead she had ever seen, Tina could have sworn she was a model, she had the more breath taking green eyes she had ever seen. She saw this goddess like woman walk over to Bette and give her a kiss on the lips.
“Bette sweetheart, you look simply breathtaking”
“Catherine so do you, uh Catherine I would like you to meet Tina Kennard, she’s filling in for Allison while she’s out on leave”
“Tina this is Catherine Brooke she owns an amazing gallery here in L.A.”
“Nice to meet you Ms. Brooke”
“Nice to meet you too Tina”
“Bette I’ll see you tomorrow have a nice night”
Tina walked out of the office and heard them giggle before she finally walked out the door, she started walking faster and faster she was feeling out of breath she felt almost nervous, she finally walked out the front doors and took a deep breath, “What just happened to me?” Tina was now talking to herself she started walking very quickly to the bus stop.
“Wow Bette I think I owned a jacket like the one she’s wearing back in the 80’s” Catherine commented
“You know Catherine I didn’t even notice”
“Come on Bette you’re in a business were image is everything, and you didn’t notice?”
“No” Bette said matter a factley “I didn’t notice”
Catherine looks at Bette with a raised eye brow.
“Ok, well shall we go?”
“Yes, Catherine I the driver should be here by now”

Something tells me Tina is going to ask Alice to help her with a makeover! I can see it now–Tina’s going to come in Monday morning with a brand new look and it will make Bette take notice!! Catherine who?? LMAO I love this story. Don’t keep us waiting long for an update! PPS
great chapter – I really like this story! I hope Alice tells Bette everything she knows about Tina – and i agree with the other posts I hope Alice helps her with a makeover. Its clear that these two are attracted to each other. I can’t wait to read more! PPS
Man what a heart wrenching story Tina told…and I think Tina is mega jealous of Catherine, but worry not; I get the feeling no matter how sexy Catherine is, Bette only had eyes for one woman…Tina! Bet she’ll finally realize it tonight while she’s out with Catherine. PPS can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us.
Alice need to take Tina shopping, I like to see Bette’s face when Tina comes back after that….
I dont like Catherine. Like Tina said, she does what she can on the limited income. How many of them has worked two jobs and still the head of her class>If Tina had the money she would realy know how to dress. She clean,had the money to have braces put on,she eat frugely and now has a beautiful smile and the glasses are next. Her family is missing out on a wonderful person That is who we should feel sad for, they have and will miss so much Thanks so much

She didn’t notice her jacket cause she was only looking at her eyes and her breasts!!! Tina’s story was heartbreaking, but I have a feeling Bette will be making her feel much better very soon, right? Great chapter, PPS.
