“Oh for the love of….”  Sam said throwing up her hands and looking around the room, seeing that they were missing a few faces.

            “Where is the rest of the zoo crew?”  Jayden asked saying what Sam was thinking and Lara kissed her as she came out of the kitchen.  Lara’s hands finding her hips, and pulling her close to her, feeling the heat from Jayden’s body.

            “We are here!  Clear a path ladies and, well gentleman, Alice and Dana are in the house, now where are those letters that little miss Jenny mentioned?”  Alice said in an exaggerated tone, a flair of her hands and Dana chuckled.

            “Letters?”  Jayden asked, she hadn’t heard about any letters, her head turned and she captured Lara’s mouth, kissing it gently. 

            “How about we sit down and wait for Jenny?”  Bette offered, and Lara went off to get some food and drinks without prompting.

            “I’m right here.”  Jenny said from the door way she had an expression of sorrow plastered on her face and Alice quickly got up and took her hand, leading her to her circle of friends.

            “I got these today.  There is one for everyone it would seem, and Marina asked, or rather wrote that we come together here; and read them.”  Jenny said with an air of formality. 

            The table sat silently for a long moment; then Kit finally broke the silence.

            “Any one wanna go first?”  Kit asked, as Jenny spread the letters out on the table before them.  She fanned them out.  No one moved; then Kit grabbed her letter.

            “Fine, I’ll be the first to go.”  Kit tore the letter open; and pulled out a thick sheet of olive colored paper.  She quickly glanced over it and began. 

            Dear Kit.

            I’m sorry for having left you in such a lurch, it was unavoidable but still an uncalled for action on my part.  I want to say thank you for being a rock these past months, you are and always will be a diva with a heart of gold.  I have contacted our lawyers and they will be dropping off a set of papers that gives you and Lara power of attorney while I am abroad.  I will be back as soon as I can, I am sure you will take as good care of the Planet as I would have in my absence.
