“So Tina what are your plans for tomorrow?” Bette asked as they were being driven to the hotel.
“Max and I are getting together for breakfast then we’ll work at the corporate headquarters for most of the day. We’ll be finished by tomorrow afternoon so I guess I need to make arrangements to head back to Los Angeles.”
“Can you stay until Friday?”
“Is that when you’re heading back?”
“Yeah. Peggy wants to leave on Friday. She’s flying back with me and will be spending the next several weeks in Los Angeles but if you need to leave sooner Michael can make the arrangements for you.”
“No I already took the time off. I don’t have anything pressing back in Los Angeles. If Peggy doesn’t mind I’d like to hang out with you and fly back on Friday too.”
“I’m sure she won’t mind. I have an idea.”
”What is it?”
”If you’re comfortable with it you are welcome to stay with me at the loft so you don’t have to spend the whole week at a hotel. I wouldn’t mind having the company.”
“Are you sure? I wouldn’t want to impose.”
“I’m sure. As you can see I have plenty of room. Maybe we could get some groceries and cook a few simple meals this week. If I keep eating the rich foods that Douglas is preparing all week I’m going to gain 10 lbs.”
“You are having food delivered every day? I thought he just did it on Sunday so you wouldn’t have to bother with going out.”
“He doesn’t mind doing it. He likes to spoil me with his cuisine and I love the food. I just thought it would be nice for us to prepare a few meals together. You won’t have to do all the work you know. I have learned a few things since I’ve been hanging out with you and Valerie.”
“I know. I would like to try out your kitchen. It doesn’t look like it’s gotten much use.”
“Ha Ha. I’m meeting Marcus there for lunch tomorrow and then I’m going to spend the rest of the day with Peggy at her penthouse. If you like you can meet me at Peggy’s after you finish with Max or you can have David help you move your things from the hotel and I’ll just meet you at the loft after. The doorman will let you up.”
“I think I’ll let you visit with Peggy and meet you at the loft. Once I get settled in I’ll do the grocery shopping.”
“You can just make a list and call it in. All the numbers are listed on the bulletin board in the kitchen. They will deliver the groceries and put it on my tab.”
“You really are spoiled aren’t you?”
“You don’t know the half of it.”
They arrive at the hotel and once again the doorman gets to the car and opens the door for Tina before David can get there. Bette and Tina embrace briefly and say goodnight.
“I’ll see you tomorrow evening.”
“OK. I’ll call you. Good night Tina.”

Alright!…Your author’s note cleared that up!..I’m all for twists and turns!..Love how you threw the conversation about the donor disagreement from Season 1 in here…Tina needs to want a monogamous relationship first so she and Bette will be on the same page to pursue a relationship..Nice chapter and loved the interaction with TiBette..Now they can get to know each other a little better in the next chapter!
Great update. Oh wow, they had THE conversation and didn’t get hurt over it. At least that will be out of the way if something does happen and they do get together and make those life altering decisions regarding having a family. Happy they are having a great time together enjoying their time together and learning more about each other. This is a very interesting story. Thanks for posting.

It`s going a bit slow but I like this sweet and genuine Bette so I`m going to keept at it a little bit longer:)
Really pleased to have some 1 to 1 time with Bette and Tina and very nice how the Donor conversations were introduced., far better than the confrontational way in the Show.

It was a very good chapter, and I’m glad that they’re getting to know each other better. and the easy-going conversation between them.
Well it seems the time is the key to this story, Bette and Tina are not emotionally in the same place. and then soon they live in two different part.
I’ will waiting ;) It will also be good to read how their lives turn out.

Interesting to see their views on marriage and children. They have to be on the same page before they can go forward in a romantic fashion. But I am a huge TiBetter, so I want them to realize their fates sooner rather than too late. Excellent chapter!
I quite agree with everyone here how the donor story was introduced. Unlike in the show, I love the softer side of Bette in this story, not sure when Jodies attack on her will resurface? Lets hope Tina and her connect will she is staying at Bette’s loft.
Yes! I know that bette would have nothing with Dylan or Winnie.
Through their conversations talking about how each has its vision of life, and even disagreeing with certain matters, they already give beginning to the future have a solid relationship. I loved this chapter.
