    Chapter 8

    "Yeah….?"
    "Yeah…"
    "I should be the one apologising" Tina continued just as softly.
    Bette looked up, her eyes brimming with adoration, she placed her index finger below the artist’s chin to lift her face slightly.
    "There is nothing to apologise for….I have no right to dictate to you how you run your life …… I am so thankful to have ……. found you"
    Bette was about to reveal her knowledge of the letter but refrained. It did not matter right now, what mattered was  this beautiful woman in her arms.
    Their lips touched once again, light feathery touch at first but soon their tongues resumed the familiar caress as they lost themselves into another passionate embrace.
    For a while longer they remained close, everything around them had faded away, it was only them lost in each other, neither of them wanting to break the spell. 
    The two women finally separated, very reluctantly. The passion which they had ignited threatened to send them over the edge and both knew it was too soon. 
    They stood in front of each other, holding hands tightly for fear of losing the moment they had just shared.
    "You are a very beautiful woman, Tina"
    The blonde blushed profusely and shyly responded.
    "I am afraid that I pale in comparison to you, Bette"
    They both laughed nervously at the slight awkwardness of that exchange.
    There was a palpable tension in the room, both women equally aching to  carry their feelings further. There was a short silence but a comfortable one as they held each other’s gaze for a moment. It quietly spoke volume of the desire both women held for each other and  both knew that it had not started with their kiss.
    Bette had unknowingly fallen for the blonde when she had first read her letter and was slowly coming to this realisation as she stood in the middle of her studio. As for Tina, it had pretty much been the day she showed up on the doorstep of Bette’s gallery. Fate, it was undeniably fate.
    It was Bette who suggested that they resume the tour of the studio. The gallery owner settled herself in Tina’s sofa and looked on as Tina uncovered piece after piece of her amazing collection.

    10. Why were you worried?? This was a very beutiful chapter, even though I have to agree with Jackiee1, B should tell her about the letter soon. But I bet you have that covered aleady ;)

    21. Fantastic chapter. So happy they’ve found each other at last. Now, as I asked in a previous chapter, I want Bette to olet her know that she found the letter or take her to her apartment and show her the letter. Maybe she should have her write something on her stationery and then take her to the apt. and show her the letter and let Tina know how affected she was by it. And now, she has found the love she too was seeking. Wonderful chapter. Thanks for posting.

    23. Hmm.. Kins40, you left me in a dreamy state :-) …. Huh?? A bit worried you said?? … Well if I may be honest too… are you insane to be worry because of this excellent writing?? Oh please, no worries dear! … The one who should be worry is US-the readers! Because I am sure that the one who is addicted to read more of your story is not only me! You have no idea how eagerly I am waiting for your post, and to ease that, I re-read from chapter one in a slow mode… Sounds silly-i know, but it’s true :-p Anyway, back to the story, when will Tina found out about Bette is having her letter?? I dont think it would be any issue there but make them closer after all the time they know each other.. Right? :-D … Hahaha… See.. I am too eager to read more but since there’s no more, you left me babbling >_< PPS?? Thanks! :-)

    27. No reason to be nervous. Loved you having Tina repeat the comment “your hand is made to fit mine” as it so perfectly describes their connection and was such a romantic way to move their relationship forward. You’ve written them so sweet, and open, and adorable with a whole lot of sexy mixed in!
