Tina smiled “ I don’t think we are going to be able to avoid finding out – we both want a daughter “
Tina opened her parcel and found a pair of blue Levi jeans.
“Oh yes Shane – I thank you for those so much “ Bette said with a smile.
“Remember your blood pressure Bette “ Alice warned
“Thank you for everything “
Shane hugged both of them
“I really could not be happier for the two of you “
“Thanks Shane – you will have to promise to come and have a long holiday with us. All those lesbians that you have no seduced “ Bette invited her young friend
“It is a very tempting prospect “ Shane admitted “I have always wanted to see Europe “
“Europe or European lesbians ? “ Helena asked grinning at Shane – she really was irrepressible.
“I cannot do both ? “ Shane replied
“Well I did “ Helena replied.
Alice and Lara had bought joint gifts for Bette and Tina. More clothes for the babies and baby books – The Idiots Guide to Babies for Bette and a book of babies names for Tina.
For Bette and Tina they had bought them huge baskets of aromatherapy oils,
bubble baths and white towelling robes
“We figured that you both needed to take care of yourself “
“Yes – no forgetting special time with each other – Remember how important love making is “ Alice spoke with a wicked grin at Bette.
“Thank you Al – we are not likely to forget the importance of our physical relationship with you around to remind us “
“My turn “ Helena got up and handed two envelopes to each woman.
“What are these ? “Tina asked
“The blue envelope for Bette and the pink one for Tina are for the baby department at Harrods. Gift vouchers for you both to buy several expensive and gorgeous gifts for your children. The white envelopes – the one that Bette is holding is for a weekend stay at the most expensive hotel/health spa near Bette’s house. It is so the two of you can get away without your children and devote some time to each other. Tina’s is for a weekend stay in Paris over Valentines weekend next year. My marriage started to fall apart when Win and I stopped being lovers and became full time mothers – we are not going to let that happen to the two of you “

oh goodness – a baby a storm no phone lines – you know how to bring the drama – I love you for it.
oh damn ‘contractions two minutes apart’!..that is close she should be at the hospital by now :P Tina will panick for sure! so..she will have the baby at home or car or hospital ?? The weather wont help either. I cant wait for next chapter.
LOL…such a bad timing for Tina…hopefully storm won’t prevent Bette from having a healthy baby

Hm, seems Tina’s timing is a little off.
They could just cover up one of Helena’s couches and Bette could give birth country style like my great-grandmother did. lol
LOL, I love you but I’m about to drop our son. I hope that B&T make it to the hospital on time. I am sure that Helena owns a Range Rover, they are pretty much tanks and can make it thru anything. After Tina’s miscarriage, I don’t think either one of them can make it through a home birth during a storm.
You ARE the Drama Queen. No doubt about it. Please no problems w/the baby.
AllyE, don’t let anything happen in the storm, okay. Let the birth be successful with both mother and child okay. Love the story but, please go mild on the drama.
Talk about dropping a bombshell. I hope Tina doesn’t feel upstaged, even though I’m sure she understands Bette wasn’t trying to top her. (What pun?) Poor Bette may have to do without the hospital she so desperately craves.

OMG Ally, I hope Bette and the baby will be okay. I loved the part about them each telling about their fears. Total riot about Tina being freaked out by Mickey Mouse, because even my granddaughter isn’t afraid of him and she is only 14 months old. Please don’t make us wait to long to find out what happens with Bette having the baby. You really know how to leave your readers hanging. And just so you know–even though you used a certain phrase in this chapter–you are not going to get me to ever say it again–so there! LOL!!!

Poor Tina she just poored her heart out and Bette says but. I can’t wait to see how Bette handles child birth process. I guess Tina realizes that Bette was not turning her down but was in serious pain.
