    Bette and Tina have dinner

    Briefly Tina thought about how Henry looked at her – yes he lusted and desired her but the way Bette was regarding her was something else. It was wanton and it was lascivious – which was what she saw in his eyes. But it was also full of love and respect and need – that was it — they needed each other. Henry lusted after her but she no longer felt the same.

     

    She had worried that she was just losing her sex drive but that had been a fallacy – she had never wanted another human the way she wanted Bette Porter at that moment. Tina took a few minutes to try and calm herself — Bette was in a delicate condition and Tina would have to pull back from ravishing her too wildly.

     

    Carefully Tina stepped out of the dress and kicked her shoes off. She removed her bra and was rewarded by the intake of breath from Bette – she could see how her pupils had dilated in anticipation. Tina was wet with desire for the beautiful brunette – how could she have thought anything or anyone could replace Bette in her heart and in her bed.

     

    Tina pulled her thong down and as she discarded it she threw it at Bette who caught it and inhaled deeply.

     

    “Ohh – that is the greatest smell in the world – ohTina – you are beautiful “

    “Do you feel comfortable doing this babe ? “

    Bette stood up and pulled Tina close so she could feel how good her soft skin felt -this was right. This was what was meant to be.

    “I’m just afraid of one thing “

    “What’s that ? “

    “That you aren’t going to look at me with the sexual longing that you always did. “

    “Because of the baby ? “

    “And because you are used to a different shape “

    Tina wasn’t sure if it was a reference to Bette’s weight or Henry.

     

     

    “You are so sexy Porter – don’t you realise that Henry and I were doomed – he wasn’t you. If you are worried though – I’ll “

    Tina trailed off — what could she do to ease her fears.

    29. Damn, Bette can make anything look sexy. You used one my favorite words, lascivious. In my early 20’s some co-workers and I were to learn a new word, spell it and define it. I never did remember how to spell it but to this day I love saying it. I am so glad that they are reconnecting. Life is to short and too lonely to not take advantage of spending that special time with the one that you love.

Slow, sweet, soft… I do find it a tad strange that it’s all happening so quickly and easily; I guess it’s the mild cynical side of me where I think that anything to do with love is hard. Well that’s been my life experience…but in the end I guess I must still say that i’ve been fortunate enough to have loved…if not loved in return.
