    Bette and Tina have dinner

    “He is wearing me out — and that’s before he’s born “

     

    She rubbed her legs – please no calf cramps – not tonight – not in the middle of a moment of intimate reconnection with Tina.

     

    Tina watched her for a few minutes until Bette pulled her close so she could snuggle against Tina’s stomach. Tina ran her hands through Bette’s hair – enjoying its length and texture. That was something else that she had missed about being with Bette.

    When Tina eased away she saw tears in Bette’s eyes.

     

    “Its only ever been you Tina “

    “Oh honey “

    They held each other again. Tina knew how emotional today had been for her – she could not guess how Bette was feeling. Tina took hold of Bette’s face and watched her reactions as she moved closer. Tina placed her lips on Bette’s and they shared a loving kiss. It lasted a few seconds but Tina knew it sealed their life together.

     

    Tina kissed her again and again — Bette ended the moment.

     

    “Oh God I have missed this “

    Tina threw her head back to get a deep breathe of air. Oh man alive – now that was a kiss. Soft and loving – no stubble. Quickly she went back to Bette and they kissed again – Bette pushed Tina’s lips apart and slipped her tongue inside her mouth. They moved closer to enjoy the kiss – Bette finally ended the kiss.

     

    “Tina “

    “I know – that was wonderful “

    “I remember the first time we kissed and my head didn’t stop spinning for hours – I don’t think my head will ever stop spinning”

    “I know – you’re more beautiful now that you were 10 years ago “

    “I’m fatter “

    “Cuddly “ Tina said with a laugh.

    Tina took a couple of steps back and slowly began to undress. She slipped the zip down and pulled the dress from her shoulders and let it drop down to her ankles. She was wearing a white thong and white lacy bra. She could see the reaction in Bette’s eyes – it was good that she could still provoke that reaction in the eyes of the woman she loved.

    29. Damn, Bette can make anything look sexy. You used one my favorite words, lascivious. In my early 20’s some co-workers and I were to learn a new word, spell it and define it. I never did remember how to spell it but to this day I love saying it. I am so glad that they are reconnecting. Life is to short and too lonely to not take advantage of spending that special time with the one that you love.

Slow, sweet, soft… I do find it a tad strange that it’s all happening so quickly and easily; I guess it’s the mild cynical side of me where I think that anything to do with love is hard. Well that’s been my life experience…but in the end I guess I must still say that i’ve been fortunate enough to have loved…if not loved in return.
