The Most Distant Course
Bette looks at the phone in her hand, she’s waiting.
Sam and Tasha are sitting in the big couch, continue discussing the feasible way to save Tina from this mess, also, find a way to get through the FBI. If what Bette said was true, they have less than four hours to get away the mansion. While the sky is getting darker and darker, the FBI might already encircle the entire manor, hiding in the place that even the bright light couldn’t see.
With her calculation, Bette knows they would have plenty of time to get away from this place, Sam, Tasha, maybe some of the staff members they’ve trusted. As long as they claim that they will be late for the company celebration, they can all avoid the great arrestment…But Bette firmly believes they won’t agree with leaving unless Tina is going with them, and nor will she leave without her girlfriend.
She is seized with remorse she shouldn’t confront Tina last night, she has overreacted, jealousy and the anger of being concealed over and over makes her lost her intellect. However, if she told Tina what the FBI is planning to do, will the ending be the same?
They might escape the attack, they could leave the mansion without facing any danger, they could run far away, there is always a way to depart from this country and try to survive in another. But does it worth enough? Regardless of Tasha, Tina’s absent certainly will make attention to Sebastian Cooper. Bette and Sam, of course, two important heads of the company, if they were both missing in the celebration, how could the suspicious boss unnoticed about it?
The most possible scenario is that the boss ordered an emergency command, cancel the meeting, vanish nowhere and send out his people to find out the traitor. Once he knew that Tina, Bette, Sam, and Tasha are the only four people who first left the room or never show up, there is no way they can be alive until next sunrise.
“Porter! Porter! Are you even listen?” Sam snaps her fingers.
Bette rubs her nose bridge. “Yes, I am listening.”
“What do you suggest?”
“Jodi has Tina, she might have control over the situation, she catches Tina on the hip by join hands with Henry. Something big must be going on.”

Hi CJ,
You better promise that things will turn well later on!!!!
The teaser at the end have me very worried about Bette.
Ugh Jodi and Henry, i hate them, trying to put Tina as the one who killed Eric, i truly hope that at the end they got what they deserve, a slow and painful death.
Bette is willing to save Tina at most cost, with her life.
When this is all over i wish them a happy life and CJ, i have to trust you to make this possible!
Please update asap, the suspense is killing me!

Hi CJ:
Very good chapter, finally Bette is becoming strong and smart.
How could she doubt Tina after hearing Jodie telling all those lies?
It’s good that she is taking the lead of Tina’s people, I think Sam and Tasha are following her.
Bette should bring to the meeting the pictures that Jodie gave her where Tina is in Henry’s house, and also the picture the police has, where is showing the blonde that came to visit Eric right before his death, so she could expose Jodie.
I have no idea how they are going to flee from the mansion I guess is going to be a very tight escape having the FBI and the law forces outside.
However, my idea of a “good escape” is to make it as clean as possible, which means, without a criminal load on them. Unfortunately, one of the highest criminals here is Aaron, the FBI head, and legally will be very hard to exonerate Tina, Sam, Tasha, and even Bette. At least if you have a hidden card in your sleeve, which you may have if my calculations aren’t wrong.
But JC, this is your story and it’s great. Thanks for the wonderful chapter, pps.

Thank you for the chapter, but i really don’t follow some of the lines. How the Jodie can interrogate Tina in front of her father when on the last meeting about Carmen she lost his trust?

My liking for Tina makes it a difficult read.
I am a little disappointed in Bette’s Character and wish her stronger and more determined to believe and help Tina.
Like Zhenya I find some aspects difficult to believe regarding Jodie and her father but then again I hate Jodie!
Look forward to your next post and hopefully the Course will become less difficult for B&T
