Jean woke up and looked at the clock on the stand. She moaned softly and rolled over. She saw Dana standing by the window and looking out. She smiled softly when Dana looked over at her. Dana smiled and walked over to the bed.
“Good morning—,” Dana leaned over and kissed Jean softly.
“Morning,” Jean sat up on her elbow, and Dana sat next to her. “Are you still thinking about Alice?”
“Yes—,” Dana dropped her head and then looked out the window. “I just feel like she’s in danger, and she needs me.”
“Do you still want me to go with you?” Dana grabbed Jean’s hand.
“It would mean a lot.” Jean sat up, and Dana caressed Jean’s cheek. She leaned her head against Jean’s and smiled softly. “Thank you.”

“Where are they?” Logan looked at the professor.
“They’re at a small motel—about fifteen miles from here.” Logan gritted her teeth and balled his hand up.
“Dana.” He growled through his teeth, and Ororo approached him.
“Don’t think of anything stupid Logan. We just have to bring them back before Magneto gets his hands on them.”
“Why am I the only one who’s worried about Jean being out there with a woman that we barely know?”
“Logan—calm down.” Professor spoke up. “You don’t need to lose yourself because of this. Just go with Storm and bring them back before they leave.”
“Let’s go,” Ororo walked off, and Logan looked at the Professor.
“Don’t let love get the best of you—just bring them back.” Logan turned away and went behind Ororo.

Jean ran her head under the faucet as she took a shower. She sighed softly as she ran her fingers through her hair and let the water run over her body. She heard something crash in the room, and she looked towards the door.
“Dana? Are you okay out there?” She turned the water off and moved the curtain. She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body. “Dana—,” she reached out for the handle and turned it. She opened the door and slowly walked into the room. The room was dark, and she saw Dana’s arm from the side of the bed. She took a step forward, and Shane hit her in the face. Jean went down to the floor with a hard thump, and Shane looked down at her body. Shane smiled as she kneeled down, and Jean groaned softly. She turned Jean’s head towards her, and Jean grabbed her forehead.

Oh wow this is getting pretty intense. I’m glad Logan saved Jean but he use his head. I can’t wait to find out what happens.
i hate loooogan, i hate looooogan…what an awful song i’m singing. well anyway, thanx greatly for the new chapter luv. and don’t worry about the lack of comments. folks are all on vacation from their laptops i’m sure. pps:)
Damn this is so good, glad to catch up with a story. Hope some one will came and rescued Dana and Alice. Logan get your head out of your ass and go get Dana back. Hope they’re ok. Ok let see more please, thanks!
HEy ACB, Sweet to have you posting more of this awesome adventure. Logan was a complete jerk jumping to the conclusion that Dana was involved. OF course magneto and his gang are trying to break up the X-men. This is a prime example of his devilish mind. Now everything is coming together for a battele royale.
