“Are you all right? You went down pretty hard.” She laughed softly, and Pyro walked into the room.

“Stop messing around and let’s go.” Shane looked up at Pyro and smirked.

“Make yourself useful and pick up Fairbanks.”

“What about her?” Pyro looked down at Jean.

“We’ll leave her here. Her precious X-Men will come and save her.” Shane pinched Jean’s cheek, and Jean winced in pain from the blow she got from Shane. Shane got up on her feet and fixed her jacket. “Let’s go,” Pryo grabbed Dana and dragged her out of the room. Shane lit up a cigarette and took a drag. She walked towards the door and turned around. She threw a flame into the room and lit the bed on fire. She laughed and ran towards the truck. She hopped in, and Jenny peeled out of the parking lot. Ororo and Logan saw the vehicle speed down the road.

“What the hell?” Logan saw smoke coming from a room as Ororo pulled into the parking lot. “Son-of-a-bitch! Storm stop the car!”  Ororo stopped, and Logan got out. “Jean!” We ran towards the burning room.

“Logan!” Ororo stood by the car as Logan walked into the room. He brought his arms towards his face as he looked around. He heard coughing and looked down.

“Jean,” he kneeled down and picked her up in his arms. “I’m going to get you out of here.” He made his way towards the door, and Ororo sighed softly as she saw Logan coming out of the room with Jean in his arms. He made his way over to the car, and Ororo got back in. he got in with Jean in his lap, and Ororo put the car in drive. “She’s going to pay for this.” Ororo looked at Logan.

“Logan don’t jump to any conclusions. We don’t know if Dana had anything to do with this.”

“I know she did, and she’s going to pay for this.” He hissed, and Ororo sighed as she pulled out of the parking lot.

“Wake up—,” Dana began to move around as the words echoed in her head. “Rise and shine Fairbanks…” She groaned and slowly opened her eyes. She squinted as a bright light was shining in her face. “Hey—are you going be okay? You look like you took a bad beating.”
