    Chapter 27 – lost in the House of Souls

    Dash: What!

    Shane held her hands up in defense.

    Shane: Nothing man..I was just….look …

    Shane knelt down beside Dash and forced her to look at her.

    Shane: If anything else happened last night…anything you didnt tell me yet…its okay…Ill wait til your ready…but if he did something to you…I hope you told Sullivan so she could take care of you…cause…

    Dash: I told you what happened…nothing else …I wouldnt let him….

    Shane: I know you think youre bad…but sometimes…you just cant stop them.

    Shanes hands were trembling as she brushed the hair from Dashes face. Dash held her hand over Shanes against her cheek and just nodded.

    Dash: I swear nothing happened…and if it did I would come and tell you.

    Shane nodded.

    Shane: Okay …where are you gonna go?

    Dash shrugged.

    Dash: Sullivan went on a rant…she thought you did this…but I told her what happened and she said she would try to get her friend to get me out of there..but that would mean Id have to go to a group home.

    Shane grew angry and stood up. Dash grabbed her hand.

    Shane: But I told her no…and that you and Father Joe would flip if they tried to put any of us in a group home.

    Shane settled down and smiled. She found it oddly reassuring that the young girl knew her so well after only a week in her life.

    Dash: So her friend is buying me time right now…Sullivan convinced her to tell the family Im staying with that Im with my cousin for the weekend.

    Shane: And Im the cousin aye?

    Dash: No…Achilles is…

    Shane laughed and shook her head.

    Shane: Youre not sleeping out there again.

    Dash pouted and crossed her arms.

    Shane: Youre coming home with me.

    Dash raised an eyebrow and looked up at Shane.

    Shane: We are gonna be up early tomorrow and Saturday so you might as well.

    Dash: Fine, but dont try anything…You and your ***** counterparts are not gonna try to convert me.

    Shane laughed and she looked at Dash with concern.

    Shane: You know…Dash…if you were….I mean…if you were curious…its okay…to be ..uhm *****..

    2. A very good chapter. Shane knows very well what Dash’life is. But Shane is very tired (physically and emotionally) because she wants do everything for helping the others and to be here for her friends. It will be good Alice takes care of her.. I hope Bette’ mission will be successfull. Finally, I don’t believe she doesn’t see how Tina can feel or I hope it.
      I hope my last comment wasn’t too bad for you because I love too much this story. Maybe I’m too sentimental… Thanks for this quick update and take care of yours.

    6. i find myself searching fan fic only to look for your story…so keep them coming when you get a chance…i only started reading the last few so i’m a little clueless as to the shane/dash story (unless it was a new development). despite that, i find this story intriguing and can’t wait to find out what the bette’s surprise will be…sort of have an idea, but i don’t want to jump to any conclusions. your story is sustaining me while i wait till sunday for the season2 premiere. btw, what were your thoughts? was it worth the wait?
