The Roommates – 2nd Dimension: Chapter 54

“Your father called me, Bette. He told me what happened. That you…..that you came out to him.”
Blood rushed to the caramel cheeks and dark-brown eyes closed in embarrassment. “He did?”
“Well, he didn’t tell me so much as blamed me. He was very upset. He wanted me to know that it was my fault you chose this lifestyle.”
Anger replaced embarrassment and when she spoke, Bette’s voice was low. Its slipped out through her gritted teeth. “I didn’t choose this lifestyle. This lifestyle chose me.”
“I….I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to imply that you did. I just…I wanted to let you know that you’re not alone.”
A contemplative silence filled the air between mother and daughter. The dark-haired young woman tried to still her emotions. Tried to calm the rage that threatened to take control of her tongue. For once, she wasn’t angry with her mother. She was just filled with a combustible mixture of sorrow, frustration, and disappointment. Any additional emotions thrown were like fuses, ready to ignite the combination already bubbling beneath her thin surface.
Bette sighed deeply and let the anger roll away. “Thank you”

The dark-haired young woman talked with her mother for a little while longer before they hung up. When the call finally disconnected, Tina smiled, her head still on her lover’s back. “I take it that was good news?”, she asked.
“Baby, it was very good news.”
Bette slipped out of her girlfriend’s arms and kneeled in front of her, her knees on the floor. She placed her hands on Tina’s thighs. “T, I’m gonna get to stay in school.”
Tina leaned her head down and kissed her lover’s forehead. “That’s wonderful, Babe. I’m so relieved.”
“Me too, T. And my mom doesn’t think Daddy will tell your parents.”
“She doesn’t?”, asked Tina.
“No. I feel so much better, T. So much better.”
Tina smiled. “I know you do. I love you, Bette.”
“I love you, too. I love you so much.”, said Bette, before leaning in and tasting her lover’s lips.

“Oh my God!” “Shhh….”, Tina whispered. Bette bit her lower lip as her lover’s nimble fingertips drew circles against the most sensitive part of her body…………..Its a wonder Bette didn’t bite her own lip off; I damn near did! ^_^ ……… Tina sucked on the hard left nipple as her lover’s climatic chorus began. She wanted Bette to explode. Wanted the lovely colors to float in her partner’s mind. She wanted to cement their uncertain future with the power of her touch. Bette’s closed eyes squinted tightly, her hands clutching the bedspread, her moistened body raised, her passion-dipped voice painting a beautiful path to release. ….. As one door closes another door opens. Hopefully that door will lead to a relationship for mother and daughter. Bette needs her mother more than ever. Tina, Bette and Janice that would be a wonderful picture. Janice has already met Tina and seems to like her a lot, so that will not be an issue. I hope that you will continue to give us a bird’s eye view of those three developing their relationship.

MTS, Thank you for this sensual reconnect between Bette and Tina. It was perfectly measured and a wonderful way to reunite these characters after everything the previous days had brought. One thing is that Tina needs to share her experiences with homophobia with Bette especially with Courtney’s parents. It was wonderful to see Janice’s point of view and her acceptance of her daughter.
