    The Roommates: Chapter Eleven

    Previously~~~~

    Eric leaned in to kiss Tinas lips and thats when Tina felt as if everything suddenly came to a screeching halt. She felt like she was in one of those movies where everyone just pauses suddenly and everything stands still but the main character. Everything was happening in slow motion. It seemed to Tina as though she could see in microseconds. Her vision zeroed in on Erics lips and saw them begin to pucker as his blue eyes closed in super-slow motion. In fractions of seconds, images of Tinas night spent with Bette flashed through her mind. She saw them kissing. She could feel Bettes breathe on her neck and the smoothness of her lovers velvety walls. Tina could hear Bettes climax and said to herself, Stop thinking about her, shes not thinking about you.

    This was Tinas last thought before everything went blurry and she slipped into darkness.

    ~~~~~~~
    Tina had fainted into Erics arms and when she awoke, his dark blue eyes were smiling down on her. He was sitting on the ground, cradling Tinas head in his lap.
    Hey there, said Eric.
    Tinas eyes were wide in surprise. Eric? What happened?
    You fainted. But dont worry, I was here to catch you. Are you feeling okay?
    Then Tina remembered why shed fainted in the first place. Images of her and Bettes late-night rendezvous again flashed in her mind and her cheeks went flush with embarrassment. Yeah, yeah Im fine. Ive just been staying up so late and I havent eaten at all this morning. Im probably just fatigued. Im fine. Tina moved to stand and Eric helped her to her feet.
    There were lines of worry in the young mans forehead and he asked, Are you sure? Are you dizzy at all?
    Tina smoothed out her dress and re-centered herself. Yes, I am positive. Im sorry about that. I dont normally make it a habit to fall out at LAX.
    Eric gave a small smile and said, Glad to hear it. Ever the gentleman, he insisted that Tina sit down in a nearby chair while he ran and got her an orange juice. When he returned, Tina noted that he was rambling on and on about her blood sugar levels and he made her drink the entire bottle before he would move from her side. Eventually, they claimed his bag and made their way to Bettes car.
    1. …sorry to not have commented on the last chapter…it’s hard to be on my knees begging for more and I kind of got stuck ~ unable to type :) Oh the drama ~ excellent writing!
    2. Hey there, Ive never commented before and to be honest never got round to reading your stuff. Buut Ive just caught up with your story and I think its amazing.
      It still astounds me that people are still able to come up with new, original and gripping tales about these two beautiful creatures we know as our B+T. You have dont this brilliantly, keep it going, Im really intrigued to see where you’re goin to take this. k xx
    3. Alright I am back from my trip and I had to catch up on a lot of reading. I miss this one. Have you ever wriiten before? Well if you haven’t you have done an amazing job for a first timer.
    4. I just started reading The Roommates and this is my favorite chapter yet! I love how conflicted and real Tina & Bette’s situations are.
      “she was a walking, talking potential lesbian time bomb ready to explode” Favorite line ever!!!
    5. Thanks for answering my question, very good logic Dude. I love the different layers you put into your characters, Eric seemed so sweet and the homophobia definately gave him a dark edge. Plus, its cool to see that Tina has a little of her own in a way, or I guess maybe a lot of fear. You are piling on the drama, but you do it so well. Way to go. Great writing, yea you.
    6. quiet shy boyfriend is a bigot…I hope you can get Bette and Tina back together sometime soon but until then I’m looking forward to the drama…oh boy, yummy!
    7. I’m kinda glad that Eric is homophobic. Even after all their years together, what they have ment to each other,he just told her that his love is conditional. I will love you only if you fit this mold. Love without acceptance is not an option anyone should settle for. Good job…The hook has been set and you are already reeling me in! Post soon, please!
