Alice:

Damn I’m good I think to myself as I watch the two people I worked so hard to get back together stand in front of me and Dana holding each other tightly.

”You are a genius Babe and I love you so much” Dana whispers in my ear and I turn to kiss her softly on the lips and watch her walk over to others who are talking and playing with Angelica. 

Angelica is such a beautiful child and my heart is full to see the Kennard-Porter clan together and back where they belong. I sigh and look at the clock and start to freak out because we have let the time go reconnecting with Tina and it’s almost midnight.

”Oh crap people! We have less than two minutes till midnight! Grab your significant others!” I yell and run over to Dana.

Bette:

I lift my head off of Tina’s shoulder and quickly wipe my tears away and I hear Tina gasp. I look and follow her gaze as it lands on Jenny and Shane hugged up with Shane kissing and sucking on Jenny’s neck. I giggle and look back at Tina 

”I have a lot to fill you in on Tee” I say smiling at her and she starts laughing.

”Oh my God Bette. You are kidding right?” She says and I shake my head.

”Ok here we go! 10…9…” Alice yells and everyone starts counting down 

”I’m so happy you are here Tee..I love you ” I say to her with such emotion

”8……..7……..”

”I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else Bette. I love you so much” Tina replied as I pull her closer to me and stare into her beautiful hazel eyes. 

”6……..5…….”

”I know we have so much to work on and we just got back together but I want to make a permanent commitment to you and we don’t have to right away but when we are ready but……….Will you marry me Tina?” I ask on impulse but it felt like the most natural thing in the world as I hold the love of my life in my arms.

”4………..3……”

Tina looks at me in shock at first but then nods and smiles at me

”God Bette…That’s so….uhmmm…so sudden..” shes say in total shock but Tina has always been the love of my life and I can’t imagine being with anyone else but her…“I can’t think of anything I would rather do more than spend the rest of my life with you..I was so miserable without you and I want us to be together so…….Yes…Yes…..I will marry you” Tina replies as her mouth quivers trying to hold back tears

”2………..1……Happy New Year!!!!!” Everyone yells and ’Auld Lang Syne’ begins playing through the speakers as confetti releases over us from the rafters.

I smile as my eyes glisten with tears yet again. I press my lips into Tina’s as we share a passionate kiss pouring all of our hopes and dreams for the future into it. And as we continue to kiss, I feel a tug on my pants and Tina and I reluctantly break away from our kiss and look down at our beautiful daughter.

”Auntie Kit says I have to give both my Mamas a kiss” Angie says and I pick her up as she gives us each a peck on the lips and we both pick a cheek planting kisses on them at the same time.

”Happy New Year!” Angie yells and Tina and I chuckle resting our foreheads together against Angie’s and smiling at how happy we are and that the three of us are starting this new year off right—As a family”
