“I love you, and I hope you know how sexy you are now.”
“Yeah yeah, I know.”
Bette smiled, leaning in and giving Tina a kiss on her cheek. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”
And from across the dinner table, Bette could still feel the sexual energy she’d felt in that car, although she tried desperately to squander it. Not yet. Not yet. She kept telling herself, stealing glances up at Tina. Not yet.
“Ms. Hammond likes Bette,” Angelica snorted just as she was trying not to laugh. She giggled out her milk at the expression on Tina’s face – a mix of jealousy and feigned indifference.
“Hmm,” Tina states simply, although the look she gave to Bette told more than that. I suppose I can’t blame her …
Angelica interjected again, looking down to the small pool of milk on her leftover spaghetti. “Yeah, Bette came in early by accident, cause I asked her to see my project, and Ms. Hammond asked how Bette knew me. But don’t worry, Mom, she didn’t know you guys’re together.”
“Yes. In fact, she didn’t know you were into women yourself,” Bette chuckled, blushing wildly at the memory. She hadn’t known quite what to say to the interested schoolteacher.
“Is that so?” Tina teased, enjoying the conversation then, watching the flash of jealousy from Bette as well.
“It was so creepy,” Angelica laughed, getting up and scraping the last bits of food off her plate to put it in the sink with her utensils and her glass.
Bette watched the girl with a smile, then aiming it back at Tina. “It was a little … awkward, if I might say so myself.”
“Mmm hmm,” Tina answered, pursing her lips so the scowl couldn’t surface with her smirk. She just poked at her food. “Angie – your turn to do the dishes, hunny.” With more maturity came more privileges, but with more privileges also came more responsibility. Angelica took it quite well, only complaining every so often.
“Fine,” the girl grumbled rinsing the dishes for later and walking out to the living room. She would watch TV before doing the rest of her homework, because Tina still checked it every night – helping her if she needed it.

I must say I’m intrigued now!! Would love to read about the Peabody-Porter encounter. Both egos are quite very alike. Shame it’s coming to the end but I’m sure you have more stories about our favorite couple. Awesome job!!!
