“Could you pass my phone?” Bette teased, as she had promised she inevitably would, relaxing with both eyes closed. The relaxation having fully set in as the afternoon grew late.

Tina let out a lazy laugh, and snuggled in a little closer, smiling at the smell of Bette. Loving her, and both of her eyes just as blind to their surroundings – as beautiful as it was on the beach. After all, they had both wanted to go somewhere tropical for their honeymoon, but neither knew it would be so heavenly. She smiled a little harder at the reminder of her wife’s teasing.

“I threw it out,” she quipped, feeling Bette’s hand travel up her back to her neck. It was freezing cold from a drink Bette had ordered not long ago, but Tina didn’t shiver. She moaned. “That feels nice.”

“Mmm, does it?” Bette moaned back, finally opening her eyes to the blue of the ocean. The soft, hot sand that covered the beach – even underneath the hammock they were lying in together. She took a long, deep breath in and then chuckled. “Mmm … this is paradise.” She looked over at her drink in the sand, but was too lazy to reach for it.

Tina, however, was always close enough. Lying on top of her, in fact.

“I like this …” Bette smirked, closing her eyes again as her fingers played with the ties at the top of Tina’s bikini halter top. “It’s cute.”

Tina kissed Bette’s neck, not to entice her, but just to do it. It still had the same effect, her lips lingering because everything seemed to move a little slower in the heat.

Bette’s fingers pulled the knot out, and Tina chuckled, turning her head down, toward the shade of the tree. Although there weren’t many people around, she didn’t want anyone to see them, so she reached her hands up to tie it up again. “Bette …”

But Bette caught her hands, and simply closed her eyes again as she started to massage Tina’s shoulders. No one could see her wife topless because Tina was on her stomach, lying on Bette. “It’s nothing bad …”

“Then why undo my top?” Tina laughed with exhaustion.

“Well … nothing bad … yet.”
