    Final chapter.

    “Umm … I’m her daughter, actually.”

    “Ah,” he said in a certain way that Angelica couldn’t quite decipher. But to anyone else, it would have been obvious that he felt just as foolish and flustered. That he was interested in her, too. “So … should I just leave it here, then?”

    “Don’t I have to sign for it?”

    He chuckled momentarily, realizing what a mess he was. “Right,” he smiled again, rendering her speechless. He didn’t know what a feat that really was.

    They were both so entranced with each other, exchanging another look, that they hadn’t noticed Bette come in. She walked up to the door, covering her mouth to hide her knowing grin as the young man cleared his throat, and thanked Angelica for all her help.

    “Oh, thanks – I mean you’re welcome!” she finished, wanting to drop her head in shame. But she simply couldn’t resist watching him go.

    And that was when she noticed Bette standing in the door – smiling at the deliverer as he stopped for a moment in front of her, trying to rid himself of the contagious smile on his face.

    “Ms. Porter.”

    Bette already had her arms crossed over her chest, closing her eyes to a nod as he walked past her, and out of the gallery. And then she looked back up to Angelica who was completely flush behind her desk. “So, I leave for two minutes, huh?” And this is what happens? She chuckled at the embarrassed expression on Angelica’s face, and walked in to set the food down. She didn’t want to humiliate the girl, so she held her tongue for the time being.

    Angelica gladly changed the topic, all mixed up inside as she dished out a proper portion to them both, gaining back a sense of her intellect as her body began to cooperate like usual. No more shivers or butterflies to riddle her form.

    And she was glad for it, she told herself. She had other things to worry about.

    Once they made it home, Bette slipped into her bedroom and closed the door behind her just as Tina looked up over her book. She hurried over and whispered what had happened, and just what effect the young man had on Angelica. She gushed all about what she’d seen, and that it was everything she’d hoped Angelica might feel some day – out of control in love. She said she saw real potential there, chuckling quietly when she mentioned Angelica’s slip between thank you and you’re welcome.

    3. I really enjoyed this story. I was however thinking that at some point that Angie’s “sperm donor”, was going to make an appearance and try to start trouble for Tina and Bette, and that we would really see how Angie had grown to love Bette, and start to call her Mom or her Mama B. But as it was written, I truly still did love it dearly. Thank You so much. Looking forward to another one of your stories.

Hi there GrindRight! nice ending to a great story, compelling from the first chapter, with characters full of emotions and unforgettable dialogues.I really admire you, I love the way you tell your story, when you want to convey something, you do it with your writing very easy and that is just because you have talent.I can not stand the urge to read a new story of yours.Reading “Fifty shades of Grey”, you’ve read it?, I could not help imagining a version of it with Bette and Tina of course written by you,what do you think? the Fifty shades of Porter.I would die if you do it,but after of read it! hahahaha!

    24. Hello GrindRight,How are you? Sorry I’ve been away for such a long time. The intensity of the sex scenes in yourStory got me in trouble. I am just now escaping the arms of someonewho doesn’t belong to me. I’m grateful that I didn’t get caught inEurope. (Mercy), you are most definitely an amazing writing. “The Set Up”, althoughthis literally happened to me while reading your story, I also hate that it’sending.
