    Final chapter.

    Tina was completely surprised, but gladly so. She asked all about the boy, whispering with Bette about the possibilities.

    But they both said nothing about it to Angelica, simply smiling up at her from the couch as she went to get an evening snack.

    She’s seventeen, and look at her – she’s really in love, Tina thought, leaning her head on Bette’s shoulder. A little sad that Angelica always grew up so fast. She slipped her arm through Bette’s then, and smiled, because she wanted Angelica to have everything she deserved, and love was a big part of that. She only wondered why Angelica hadn’t chased after him, or mentioned him at all. Was she so focused on the “more important things in life” that she couldn’t allow herself happiness in love? Or did she not even recognize the feeling?

    Tina relaxed when Bette’s thumb moved over the back of her hand, smiling at the gesture. Bette could always comfort her.

    She would feel better, she knew, after the dinner she scheduled with Angelica a few days later. She straightened out her dress, a bit sad that her daughter had been so busy lately, allowing no time to enjoy the simpler things, but also happy for her daughter’s determination and drive to go for what she wanted. No one had any doubts she could get into any university she chose.

    “You look beautiful,” Bette whispered over her shoulder, snugly wrapping both arms around her love to look at them both standing together in the mirror. “Stunning.”

    “Well, we’d better get going or we won’t make our reservation,” Tina grinned, suppressing it when she heard a knock at their bedroom door. “Yes?”

    “May I come in?” Angelica had learned over the years that the question was absolutely necessary.

    “You may,” Bette smiled, releasing Tina and looking over to the girl in the doorway – still in her over-sized sweater, and tight jeans. “Hunny …? What’re you doing?”

    “What? It’s just dinner,” Angelica chuckled, rolling her eyes when Bette looked pointedly at her.

    “We’re going out for a night on the town!” Tina called after Angelica as the girl slipped out of sight, and back down toward her own room. “Dress up, young lady! Don’t make me pick your outfit!”

    3. I really enjoyed this story. I was however thinking that at some point that Angie’s “sperm donor”, was going to make an appearance and try to start trouble for Tina and Bette, and that we would really see how Angie had grown to love Bette, and start to call her Mom or her Mama B. But as it was written, I truly still did love it dearly. Thank You so much. Looking forward to another one of your stories.

Hi there GrindRight! nice ending to a great story, compelling from the first chapter, with characters full of emotions and unforgettable dialogues.I really admire you, I love the way you tell your story, when you want to convey something, you do it with your writing very easy and that is just because you have talent.I can not stand the urge to read a new story of yours.Reading “Fifty shades of Grey”, you’ve read it?, I could not help imagining a version of it with Bette and Tina of course written by you,what do you think? the Fifty shades of Porter.I would die if you do it,but after of read it! hahahaha!

    24. Hello GrindRight,How are you? Sorry I’ve been away for such a long time. The intensity of the sex scenes in yourStory got me in trouble. I am just now escaping the arms of someonewho doesn’t belong to me. I’m grateful that I didn’t get caught inEurope. (Mercy), you are most definitely an amazing writing. “The Set Up”, althoughthis literally happened to me while reading your story, I also hate that it’sending.
