But it wasnt like Tina was the only one jealous. Bette always had a hint of jealous towards Tinas past boyfriends. Every now and then theyd be out and accidently bump into one and Tina would have to try and explain why her and Bette were holding hands. Im not ashamed, im a little new to this. Tina laughed. After four years she was finally open enough to say out loud (to her ex-boyfriends) why they were really holding hands. Im in love, cant you see? shed tell them. Bette would smile and theyd kiss walking away.

Tina ached inside suddenly. Emotionally after thinking about Bette she knew how lonely she was. Sure, she had her friends and even Helena (sometimes) but with Bette there was actually a connection. Something they both felt for each other when thats all they had in the world. If nothing else made any sense, at least they did. Well not anymore. Tina thought dwelling on the fact.

It kind of made no sense to her now though. Bette had begged many times for forgiveness and each time Tina only hear the lies in her voice. She could of gone crazy anytime she heard Bettes voice, having it break her in half from just the memories. She shook the thought away. She was trying desperately to get her life back, her pride as well. Its hard to end a seven year relationship with your head held high. And even though she got revenge on Bette since the separation, she still felt nothing but love in her heart…

Bette, what would you do if we ever broke up? Tina had asked. Thatll never happen. she promised. You never know. People change, we could wake up one morning and find ourselves bored with each other. Tina pointed out. Lucky for us were happily in love and live a loving life. I guess. Tina said. Look, i love you. I love you now and ill love you tomorrow. Think about that everyday, anytime you doubt us. Well we 70 and still laying in bed, holding hands. I promise. You can trust me, T. I love you.

Tina finally blinked away from the abyss. I wish i could have believed you Bette. We could have been really happy and truly lucky. Tina said thinking and wondering what Bette was up to now….
