    Five years after the fall of B&T

     

    Tina playfully swatted her bottom as she got out of bed.

    Bette:  “Where are you going?”

    Tina:  “To the bathroom, when I get back you can tell me how we are spending the day.”

     

    Bette laughed and knew exactly how she wanted to spend the day.  But she knew she couldn’t do that.  She still didn’t want to walk around much, but she needed to get out of the house.  She had a plan.

     

    Tina came out and sat on the edge of the bed to inspect Bette’s wounds.  They both looked really much better.

    Tina:  “After you shower we will get these bandaged.  So what are our plans for the day?”

    Bette:  “I have to get out of the house, I’m dying in here.  So you get ready and we’ll head out.”

    Tina:  “Where are we going?”

    Bette:  “I have a plan, don’t worry.”

     

    Tina went and got in the shower.  When she came out Bette had made coffee and was making the bed.

    Tina:  “I can tell you are feeling better, you are moving much better.”

    Bette:  “Thanks to you, all the nursing you’ve been doing.”

     

    They got dressed and ready. 

    Bette:  “We have to make a stop at the Planet and pick up something from Kit.”

    Tina:  “Ok, where are we off to?”

    Bette:  “I’ll give you directions, do you mind driving, I don’t think I should.”

    Tina:  “No of course not, you just relax.”

    They got out to the car and Tina drove them to the Planet.  While Bette went to the back and got what she needed, Tina got them cold drinks to go.

     

    They headed out and Bette gave Tina the directions to where they were going.  It wasn’t long and Tina had a gut feeling where their destination was.

     

    Tina:  “Are we going to where I think we are going?”

    Bette:  “Yes, is that ok?”

    Tina:  “I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be on a beautiful day like today.”

     

    They finally arrived.  They were at the beach.  They both loaded them selves with things from the car and headed to the spot they knew so well.

     

    It was the exact same spot that Bette had asked Tina to be her wife so many years ago.  It was the place they had shared many an anniversary and special moments at.  It was their special place.
