To The Moon and Back- Chapter 2

Tina merely froze with all the memories rushing at her before dropping onto her knees, her hands lazily pressing against the ground, shaking head in negativity before speaking, “I don’t believe you, I was adopted and my biological parents died when I was born.  Who hell are you?!”  Tina seethed, her canine teeth growing, her eyes glowing gold.

Unfazed, Suhaila merely smiled and spoke in ancient language, “You are to write your own destiny.  You must break the prophecy before everything is lost.  Truth will come to you when you are more receptive.”

Her brow furrowed, Tina calmed instantly, her eyes returning back to soft hazel irises and asked, “What prophecy? Why do I have Lycanthrope? How did I get it, was I bitten when I was born that I could not recall?”

“Ah, questions…questions… they are to be expected.  You are of the clan that have been around for a few thousands of years and you are destined to take over the entire clan.  Your human name is Christina Kennard, you were born as Chrystyna, the rightful king of the Lycans and-”

“Me?! A fucking king! I can’t do this…but wait, why was I taken away?” Tina wondered loudly.

Suhaila closed her eyes then opened her eyes again, revealing silver irises, “You were taken away because you are the only one who could communicate telepathically and it is an abomination in Lycans world.  Your birth mother could sense your abilities the moment she laid her eyes on you, please understand, your mothers loved you so much that they knew the prophecy should never be allowed to go on as it was created with malice by their own elders seeking control of the Lycans.  However, six-hundred and twenty years ago, the Lycans were divided due to humans turning on the Lycans, despite their peaceful co-existence that lasted for almost two thousand of years.  Unfortunately, the laws of Lycans have been lost, manipulated and twisted that ensured the divide among the Lycans stayed permanent which in effect, the humans took control of this world, banishing all Lycans into darkness and never to be heard again.  The so-called prophecy was going to be that the Lycans are to take over the world and exterminate the human race, once all the clans are united as one.”
