    The African-American man grinned, “Yes I am so thrilled to be working with her, she is legendary! Nice to meet you, I am DeShaun by the way.” He said, his eyes sparkling.

    Still at The Planet…evening has rolled in

     

    The crowd decided to have dinner together seeing that Kit insisted that DeShaun and Eric stay for early dinner so that they could not turn her down.  They were having such a good time talking about nothing.  As soon as they were done, DeShaun exclaimed, “Why not have our group selfie together?” Pulling out his smartphone, they all agreed with grins before proceeding to pose for the pictures.  After exchanging phone numbers so DeShaun can send them the group pictures so they can keep that keepsake of their first time hanging out.  They exchanged hugs before heading out separately for night, Eric and DeShaun heading for home while Alice and Shane heading to the club while dragging Bette along with them.

     

    Eric was riding in the car, typing away a text to Tina, telling her everything about this cool cafe and new friends he made that are females that she should meet soon.

     

    *Yo Tina! You have to check this place called The Planet soon and they have a fabulous menu that I know you would enjoy.*

    *Hey Eric, can you stop by the butcher shop and get me five pounds of steaks please and I don’t have my car yet as it is on its way here from North Carolina?” Tina asked softly.

    Eric knew that Tina could run long distance without breaking a sweat but something in her voice got him concerned that he asked DeShaun if he could drive by the butcher shop as he was the one who was driving with Eric as the passenger.

     

    “Was that Tina?” He asked, glancing at Eric for a second before returning his sights on the road.

     

    “Yes, is that okay that we stop by the butcher shop and it won’t take too long? Eric asked lifting his hand to glide across the back of his boyfriend’s neck and caressing it.

     

    “Naw, that is all good, I am more than happy to do that as the shop is just down there so we will be there in a few minutes.”

     

    The door opened suddenly when Eric reached Tina’s condo while DeShaun remained in his car to catch up on texts from his business while waiting for Eric.

     

    “Hey!” Eric yelped, feeling being pulled forward so quickly by Tina’s very strong hands, almost ripping his button-up shirt.

     

    Growling, her golden eyes shining in pure rage staring at Eric’s terrified blues.

     

    “I can smell her on you!” Tina growled, jerking Eric backwards twice.
