      “Porter?” Eric asked, looking around before speaking again, “are you by any chance related to Kit Porter?”   Smiling, Bette nodded in affirmative, “Yes Kit is my older sister and the owner of this amazing place. How did you know Kit as I have never seen you here before?”   “Oh I was just

     

    “Porter?” Eric asked, looking around before speaking again, “are you by any chance related to Kit Porter?”

     

    Smiling, Bette nodded in affirmative, “Yes Kit is my older sister and the owner of this amazing place. How did you know Kit as I have never seen you here before?”

     

    “Oh I was just tagging along with DeShaun, my boyfriend, he is here to consult Kit on setting up a new music system for this building so he is with Kit right now.  When he comes back, I will introduce you all.  I moved here from North Carolina about 6 months ago and I met DeShaun so we have been dating for 5 months now.” Eric explained.

     

    Shane prompted, “Nice to meet you Eric, why don’t you join us while you wait?”

     

    “You don’t mind?” Eric asked with apprehension, slowly moving towards the empty chair, receiving positive replies.

     

    “So what do you think of The Planet, seeing that it is your first time here? It is also a frequent place for LGBT community here as well.” Bette asked Eric with a gentle smile.

    “This place is really awesome, especially with the vibes going on here. I think my best friend would love this place.” Eric responded truthfully, meeting the eyes of all women sitting with him.

     

    As some time had passed, they were already in deep chat with each other, Eric was feeling certain that they are great people and he was thinking of Tina and they would be great for Tina.  It was until Eric was thirsty that he ordered an iced hibiscus tea that his boyfriend surprised him by bringing the drink to him with a kiss on his lips causing the women to say, “aww, how cute!”

     

    “Hey baby, I was told it was yours so I thought I could bring it to you now that I am done with the consultation.” DeShaun said before turning towards his boyfriend’s newfound friends, “Hi queens, how are you all doing? I am sorry for leaving my Eric alone when I was speaking with the owner.”

     

    Bette moved her right hand, “Don’t worry about it, we really enjoyed his company and I take it you have met my sister Kit, the owner.”
