True Love Way/ Fall Into You – Chapter 1
Yours sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress
Tina looked up, a bright smile crossing her face. Her mother jumped up and pulled her daughter up to give her a hug.
“I’m so proud of you, Tina! I always knew it, I always knew my girl would be a Prefect.”
“I wonder who’s the other one. I really thought Dana would get to be Prefect.”
“No offense, but you’re so much brighter, Tina.”
“Mom! Dana isn’t stupid, you know. Just a bit naïve. And your intelligence doesn’t matter anyway.”
“Well, they had to make a choice. Oh dear, I’m so proud!”
Tina’s younger brother David came down the stairs, looking confused. “What’s happening?”
“Your sister is Prefect!”
“Oh. Okay. Congratulations, I guess,” David mumbled, disappearing again. Tina felt for him – she knew how hard it was for him that his school results were never as good as hers, and now this on top of it. But well, she couldn’t help it.
“I can’t wait til Dad gets home,” Tina smiled. “I bet he’ll boast about it all over the Ministry tomorrow.”

Bette Porter was relaxing in her room when a knock on the door caught her attention.
“Come in.”
Maria, a maid, came in with a tray. Bette sat up a little more to see what was on it – it was nowhere near tea time. And she drank coffee anyway.
To her surprise, two envelopes were on it.
“An owl arrived, Ms,” Maria bowed. “Your father ordered me not to touch the envelopes.”
Bette got up and quickly took them. She opened the first one hastily and rolled her eyes when she saw it was a book list. She threw it in a corner, opening the second one. She hoped it was what she thought it was, what she expected it was.
The envelope was heavier and there was a bulge. She took the badge out and grinned. Of course. There it was, a ‘P’ with a snake around it, beautifully decorated. The silver shined. She would take care of this one.
She opened the letter that accompanied it.
Dear Ms. Porter,
we are pleased to inform you that we have found you fit to be Prefect for your House, Slytherin. Your badge is included, you are to wear it any time. You are expected to spend the train ride to Hogwarts at September, 1 in the Prefect Compartment. You are also expected to guide the first-years that same evening. There will be a gathering on September, 4 where we will inform all Prefects about their duties.
Yours sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress
Ever since she attended Hogwarts – even before, when she came to think of it – she had known she would be Prefect one day. Her Father was way too important, it would be a stupid mistake to make any other girl Prefect. He had too much influence. But still, she liked to think it was an accomplishment of her own as well. After all, Alice’s mom wasn’t exactly a nobody either.
She took her cellphone out – she was against everything Muggle, being of pure blood – but this thing was just too handy. She texted Alice, who had one as well, about the news.
She looked up to find Maria still standing there. “You can go now.”
“Sure, miss,” Maria bowed.
Bette couldn’t stop grinning. Oh, this was going to be so much fun! She could actually extract points from Gryffindors just because she wanted to. She would find a reason.
She wondered who the male Prefect was, and who the Prefects of the other Houses were. She hoped that that filthy half blood Kennard wouldn’t make it. She sometimes wondered what they were doing at Hogwarts, making even Mudbloods Prefect, like Davis, who was one year older. Hufflepuff was clear – Robbie Barclay and Samantha Jones. Ravenclaw would probably be Frederic (who refused to be called Freddy by anone) Roman and Gwen Bonifier. Gryffindor couldn’t be predicted, but she couldn’t care less.
“Yes!” she shouted out, she couldn’t help it.
She thought about all the privileges, about the power she now had, about the Prefect’s bathroom that was supposed to be huge. She now could command people and they would have to listen to her, by rule, not by unwritten law.
This was great. This year would be awesome. For the first time in her life, she couldn’t wait for her driver to take her to King’s Cross. It was something she always hoped wouldn’t happen one way or another, but now she wished August would just go by in one day.

Harry Potter yeah!!! go for it!!! :)PPS
Don’t know much about Harry Potter…You’re writing it so I’m in! Standby for lots of PM’s though….I’m painfully clueless.
Hello Genner… Ok know that is completely AWESOME… hmmmmmm I’m not sure about my Bette being a Slytherin but I shall trust your judgement LOL… but this is going to be so kick ass awesome full of magic and “Falling” in LOVE… well one can hope right tee hee… the idea to merge these two universes is completely inspired and I’m glad someone with your exceptional skills has taken it on… it sure would be a fun world to play in… please keep up the amazing story and where the title is concerned I think “Fall Into You” seems to be a nice fit… much love and hugs, JC (“Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
Wow another brilliant story from you. Tibette and magic sounds very very interesting and I am excited to read more! Thanks and PPVS :)
Oh sorry I forgot – I would prepared the title True love way.
Okay first great start. But I’m curious where you take this story. I’m a hug Harry Potter Fan. Yesterday I saw in the movie HP and the halfblood prince, was great. I have read all the books more than one, so I’m prepared. I thought you make HP Bette Porter, the name is similar and to my shock a Slytherin – oh that’s not good. So it’s Tina aka HP? Please post soon.
