“Ok, here it is” John said reentering that kitchen and presented an oval shaped ball with the characteristic brown and white colors.

“We’re gonna play American football?” Shane asked as she rubbed one of her temples.

“Oh come on! It’ll be fun!” Bette reassured her friend as she stood next to Agent Cooper with a bright smile.

“Yeah I see what you meant” Alice said smiling to Agent Moore. “No childhood” She whispered only for his ears and he just giggled at her.

“Well agents I don’t mean to sound disrespectful but I think I’ll pass this time” Peggy said smiling.

“We were counting on that” Agent Cooper said. “So that’s why we asked one of our backup agents to play in your place, besides we could use an unbiased referee… these one here tends to cheat a lot” He added.

“Already making up excuses Coop?” Bette said trying to feign annoyance.

“But you do” He said also jokingly.

“Alright I’ll be your referee” Peggy agreed before those two could engage in an endless battle, even before they actually started playing.

“Thanks Peggy, anyone else interested?” Bette asked staring intensely towards her two team mates who just nodded their consent, not so happy at the idea by the way.

“Can I play too?” Alice asked surprising everyone.

“You? Playing a sport? Cause you do understand that this is a sport, right Al?” Helena picked on the blonde before the other blonde could.

“You’re such a hilarious gal aren’t ya” Alice replied equally sarcastically.

“I’ll play too” Tina came forward, as she decided that a little bit of fun wouldn’t hurt her at all, last time she had played was probably in high school with her friends.

“Alright” Derek said making eye contact with Helena and Jen, as the rest of them did pretty much the same too.

“Well I’ll play” Jennifer volunteered smiling. “I know I’m British and all but I’ve learnt the game, so I might as well try it, at least once” She added winking at Alice, who in turned smiled brightly at her.

“That’s the spirit, so come on Hel! I’ll go easy on you” Alice said knowing exactly where to hit her brunette friend where it hurt her the most.

“Easy on me, really Al? Alright I’ll play” Helena confidently said.

“So, who’s the extra agent you requested?” Shane asked truly curious.

“Agent Kroll” Bette said smiling at her friend.

“HA!” Dana released without even thinking it first and everyone in that room just turned their heads towards her, wondering what the hell that was about. “Sorry… let’s ah… go and… you know… play” She added trying really hard to divert everyone’s attention.

“Yeah” Bette simply said, inwardly smiling.
