“I guess it will take you time to get used to it but do what you would normally do after a meeting and I’ll just… hang around you” The short haired brunette said trying to warm Helena and actually succeeding.
“Great, then I… I guess I’ll be at my office” Helena said with a genuine smile as she went through the doors and towards the elevators, followed by the agent.
“Ahhh my office is right next to hers actually so… should we… I mean you don’t have to…” Alice was stammering and feeling pretty much aware of it, her cheeks becoming red by the nanosecond.
“Let’s go Ms. Piezceki, I’m sure we can catch the elevator with Ms. Peabody and Agent McCutcheon” Dana kindly said and gave the blonde a shy smile as she opened the door to allow her to go first.
That left Tina and Bette alone in the room, both staring intensely at one another and both pretty much aware of it.
“Agent Porter I… I think I need to use the restroom first… I think… so would it be ok if I… I…” Tina said also stammering and failing miserably at doing anything to prevent it.
“Please call me Bette and Ms. Kennard you don’t need to ask me if something is ok or not, you just go right ahead and do it as if you would be alone” Bette said shyly smiling at the stammering blonde that was standing a couple of steps away from her.
“Ok, please call me Tina and… I’m sorry but your presence is something that would hardly go unnoticed” Tina blurted and the moment she realized those words had actually escaped her lips, she was pretty ready to crawl into a hole and die so she lowered her eyes and basically fled the room, feeling her cheeks melting from the intense blushing she was doing.
What the hell did just happen? Bette remained standing there, like literally attached to the ground wondering if the beautiful lawyer had just flirted with her or if it was just a product of her imagination and deep desires.
Bette was used to people flirting with her. That had been a constant in her life even before she became a part of an elite unit of the FBI, and to be honest she had had her share of female conquests especially during her years as a university student. Although she never considered herself to be anything especial, not even particularly beautiful, she did understand that some people could be attracted to her and some others may even try and get her affection.

And the plot thickens tremendously can’t wait for more. Bette seems to care about Tina’s welfare more so than is needed so the connection is there.

Great premise and great story. They probably need to check the entire precinct and also check the janitorial staff, if it is an outside agency or in house. Someone has been paid royally to bug their offices and possibly homes. The team will find it all and protect them all the way. For once, I hope Alice keeps her damned mouth shut. Thanks for sharing the story.
