What she wasn’t still quite able to process was her reaction towards Ms. Kennard. She had seen drop dead gorgeous women in her life, hell she had even slept with some of them but never ever any of those women drew her attention like that blonde did. There was something about her that was overwhelming and confusing and mostly scary, for she had never experienced getting lost in somebody else’s eyes.
And what a beautiful pair of hazel eyes she has, I wonder if taking this case is such a good idea. Maybe I should trade with Shane, but then again I’ve never felt so protective of someone in my entire life… wait what?? Oh shit I should actually be with her right now… ok move your ass Porter and for the love of god FOCUS! After having such a conversation with herself she was finally able to move out from the conference room and inside the damn elevator.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god” Tina entered her office repeating that phrase over and over while pacing around. “She’s gonna think I’m into her… which I’m not, obviously not… cause I’m… I’m straight right? Yeah I am, I think…” Tina was clearly at a loss of, well everything. She just couldn’t believe that after spending twenty minutes in the presence of the tall agent she was already coming undone like this. How was she gonna survive the months they had ahead of them until this whole thing was over?
“Ok I need to focus. Just breathe, in and out, in and out” The blonde was coaching herself as she sat at her desk taking small amounts of air in and out of her lungs.
Just as she was doing this Bette finally arrived to her destination and also released a big amount of air she wasn’t aware she was holding, as she saw that everything was in order. She saw the blonde lawyer sitting down as she seemed very focused on something, her eyes fixed on some case folders in front of her.
Good… it was all a misconception on my behalf, clearly I must have heard wrong Bette convinced herself that what she heard was just her mind playing tricks on her, so she moved to an empty desk right in front of Tina’s office that was especially cleared for her. She took out her laptop, plugged a few wires, connected a few devices and started doing her part of the job in keeping these three women alive.

And the plot thickens tremendously can’t wait for more. Bette seems to care about Tina’s welfare more so than is needed so the connection is there.

Great premise and great story. They probably need to check the entire precinct and also check the janitorial staff, if it is an outside agency or in house. Someone has been paid royally to bug their offices and possibly homes. The team will find it all and protect them all the way. For once, I hope Alice keeps her damned mouth shut. Thanks for sharing the story.
