    Kit – I’m very sorry, Tina …

    Tina – Me too, Kit. Sometimes you have no other option but to let someone go … if that’s what they want.

    Kit grabs her hand.

    Kit – Come sit here.

    They sit in the rocking chairs.

    Kit – Tina … I don’t know that this is what Bette wants … even if her behavior makes you believe that.

    Tina – I don’t know Kit … I think she prefers to be free. This is how she was before us.

    Kit sighs.

    Kit – I know … but let me tell you one thing … Bette had two very difficult moments in her life. The second, you know, was when Charlie died. The first was when her mom left Daddy. He was an attorney … and would not forgive her! He got custody. Bette was still a child and felt abandoned by her mom. Love and loss are feelings that she doesn’t handle well. And I’ve told her before … that she was afraid to love and get hurt. But somehow, Tina, you cracked her shell and … even if you didn’t want, you hurt her.

    The blonde looks pensive.

    Kit – I know that this is a lot for you to handle. I also know that you have a very beautiful and charming Brit who is clearly attracted to you … but I know my sister, Tina … and I’ve never seen her as happy as when she was with you. So, if you still have feelings for her … please don’t give up!

    Tina sighs.

    Bette’s pond, afternoon: Tina is sitting on top of the rock, arms wrapped around her legs, staring at the calm waters of the pond. The blonde closes her eyes.

    Flashback: Bette is in the pond and Tina is sitting on the rock.   

    Bette – Do you swim?

    Tina – I do!

    The brunette smirks.

    Bette – I dare you!

    1. Wow first to comment… lol.. i liked it.. i knew they loved each other to much to go through with it..hope Tina still gets her backing from Helena with out strings attached. Bette will come around.. It’s still her first time being in love. She just a little unsure about giving her heart away. But I think its all ready missing..lol..thank you.

      I very glad that they didn’t sleep with another persons. Friends, hmm? I don’t know – it’s better than nothing, but less than i want for them.
      But Tina – you need stop acting like only you been hurt. You telling that you proposed Bette be friends because she broke up with you but c’mon – what choise did you give her? Break without date? What difference between that and break up?

      Wonderful chapter. Yes, I was thinking when reading the former chapters, one can’t move so quickly into someone else arms, especially after so intense feelings. I’m glad that Helena’s plan of making Tina feel forgotten from Bette, didn’t work. I’m glad that Kit was looking after both lovers. I’m glad that Bette is taking her time to wait for Tina.
      I hope they will soon find their way to each other, it can’t be anything else, because the feelings are there.

      Helena is a desperate bitch by trying to let Tina believe Bette already moved on so that Tina will give in to her. She is a sad person.

      Glad that Kit and Alice talk to them and make them realize how they both feel about each othes point of views.
