The young woman slowly drives the Jeep forward and notices a tall iron gate a few yards away. She leaves the road and parks in front of the gate. She gets out of the car and stares at the big letters on the top of the gate: WESTERN SKIES. She looks down at the flat tire and shakes her head.
Blonde – Shit!
The blonde’s fingers comb her hair and she sighs in frustration, still staring at the tire. She looks beyond the gate to the winding road surrounded by aspens and pine trees on both sides.
Blonde – I can’t even see the house …
She exhales blowing air through her mouth, and walks to the back of the SUV, where she gets her camera and takes a few pictures of the front gate, the narrow road and the forest surrounding it. She then retrieves the replacement tire and tools.

Colorado, mid morning: The blonde has taken off her coat and is using all her strength to unscrew the bolts of the flat tire. A black Ford truck approaches and stops by her side. A man in his forties wearing a brown hat steps out and walks toward her.
Man – Howdy, young lady!
The blonde stops for a moment.
Blonde – Morning!
The man chuckles as he approaches, his boots noisily stepping on the dirt.
Man – What are you doing? A flat tire is no business for a beautiful young lady like yourself!
He takes off his hat and kneels down next to her with a smile, while attempting to grab the tool from her hands.
Man – Let me take care of it!
She holds on to the tool and looks displeased.
Blonde – It’s okay! I can do this!
He laughs.
Man – Oh no, you can’t! Look at your pretty little hands! They’ve never seen a wrench before!
He shows her his strong and callous hands.
Man – These hands know what to do!
She stares at him annoyed.
Blonde – I said that I can do this, sir!
The man raises his eyebrows.
Man – No need to get cranky, missy! A woman needs help with machines!
Blonde – We are almost in the 21st Century, sir! A woman does not need a man to change a flat tire!
